you can read anything you want out of that article............the bottom line...... there may be more plants shut down and he gave his "opinion" of which plants they may be.............its nothing more this people.....MORE INFORMATION....... no it may not be what you want to hear......... but its something to think about .......... and as for stressing over all this............. THERE IS NO REASON TO STRESS OVER THINGS WE CANNOT CONTROL ... hope and pray this recession ends soon......

i don't believe some of you people.... the man read an article and posted what he read........ nothing more.... nothing less............ understand that many of us are stressed over job security as well as retirement security, but geeezzzzzzzzzz....give the man a break................... lets hope it doesn't come true, but lets also remember we're all in this together.............

As frustrating as all this is...... we really need to look at the big picture and think about saving our JOBS!! We can't afford NOT to go along with your leadership. Times are tough and we need to suck it up and save every job we have left and support the retirees. Our backs are truly up against the wall. Keep your fingers crossed that we all have a job to come back to next year.

yes you will get your vac and personal time...... i took the buyout effective nov. 1 and i'll get 11/12's of all vac and personal time i have ACCRUED .......i also have dec eligibility.... you will also get your christmas bonus

LAP is scheduled to build the explorer / mountaineer til August of 2010...... then retooling will take place.... or so they say............and yes LAP is still rotating 2 shifts to work days only.... with some weeks that both shifts are laid off..... hearing rumors of LAP laying off a shift soon though........... lets hope not......... its gonna be a long 2009

we were told that management is just the beginning.............that hourly is next............. we'll soon find out i'm sure................ lets hope its not true............. heard that kansas city has already outsourced their incoming quality dept...............

we're hearing that KTP is in the process of outsourcing the incoming quality dept to an outside vendor..... how many plants are currently doing this? ........... guessing that LAP may be next.............

looks like LAP will have down weeks in December.......... the week of the 10th and 17th are now scheduled down weeks................
