  1. Interesting....I do agree that US and Canada prices should be more in line with each other. As you said, it would help to increase sales as well.
  2. I saw part of it, and yes, thought the same thing.
  3. I don't think it's too bad. I liked the design until I got to the back, which is hideous, IMO. Front looks nice, interior looks nice, but the rear is disgusting. It looks longer to me than the other Lambdas too, likely just an illusion though. And what's up with GM putting the front turn signals down where the foglamps are on their new vehicles? Escalade, Lambdas, old CTS, STS, I'm sure theres more.....I don't like that look.
  4. Well thanks....would you rather me hide them? And believe me, my best designs (not necessarily art worthy like this Cobra picture, but in looks) I am keeping to myself...wouldn't want them to be stolen for if and/or possibly/hopefully when I do do something auto-design related.
  5. (No, not THAT ) Don't be makin fun of my avatar.
  6. That thing is HIDEOUS!!! As with most vehicles, I'll reserve judgment on looks until I see one, and even then, it doesn't matter.....it's a commercial van.

It's production, I believe it's been on sale for a few years now as well. It's the Focus CC or Focus Coupe-Cabriolet because it's a hardtop convertible. And here's your Mercury version...

How long do you think it'll be before the blackout headlights make it to the Limited model, like on the Expedition? I really like the blackout treatment on both the head and taillights.

I like that car, and to be honest with you, if it drove nicely enough and were available to us, my mom may have gotten that instead of our BMW. Of course now she's spoiled, so another vehicle would have to be pretty good for her to switch.

I like Ford's Sport model better than that one, even though it's the same company (I think).

Except for the fact that Edge slots between the Escape and Explorer and sold Ford 130K of them last year, it's useless.

I agree, I too like the blackout lights.

I've been wondering the same thing. My dad keeps asking me as well. Every time I bring up Edge, it's "did they fix the brakes?" Does anybody know?

I like that Edge as well.

I too like it. I almost like the lack of chrome.....it makes the grille pop more than on regular "chromed" models. Although, I do think some chrome door handles or maybe mirror caps could look good. You mean like powertrain? EcoBoost 3.5 anybody? I do like the body kit, but don't like the interior (I'm a tan interior person, though). Agreed.

From what press releases have said, it doesn't seem like there will be any powertrain upgrades/changes.
  17. http://media.ford.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=27614 Well, looks like the Transit Connect will be at Chicago, and will be sold in the US. I'm glad Ford is bringing this product to the market. It's in a segment of it's own as well, which should help to spur sales from light delivery companies, etc.
  18. Do they have to pay the extra cost over say a CV it would be to drive a DTS? I see some Freestars as well.....most cabs near me are CVs, with the occasional Freestar, older GM, and now Chargers (I've seen 2). I didn't realize that, well if residuals weren't too badly affected, I wouldn't mind if they sold some Edges to cab companies.
  19. ESPECIALLY in fuel/environmentally conscious California.
  20. That's very good news.....as you said, they mentioned the losses, and Ford's 2009 profitablility promise. I was thinking....what if Ford was able to amaze everybody and become profitable for 2008. That'd be pretty cool, not sure if it's possible, but it's nice to think of.
  21. Sounded like the guy from Top Gear was doing the voiceover.
  22. A Mustang who just happened to be the bad guy.
  23. I agree....I think Mike Rowe's ads are great.
  24. Ouch.....sad that such a beautiful car was destroyed, I wonder what happened to it.....and I would not want to see that repair bill, but then again, R8 customers are ones who could just write a check for a new one on the spot.
