You could do that, the "luxury" version could be a Lincoln, while the "standard" could be Ford/Mercury, w/ the "utility" being Fords, even they might not be named "Ford", "Lincoln", or "Mercury" products. As twintornadoes said, I'm not sure Microsoft would like that. Also, Ford also uses that name elsewhere: the Vista roof, aka the BAMR.

I suppose that's a logical question. I guess he needs a truck and figured it's a Ford so it must react the same in crashes.

Nice looking car. I don't blame your wife. I like the current Expedition's integrated into the beltline keypad look, of course the new system (on MKS) solves the problem completely.

Hi everybody, I just saw a pretty good 2008 Fusion ad. It starts out w/ somebody avoiding a garbage truck, then some person using SYNC system, then a Fusion with the Sport Appearance Package w/ some guy driving fast, then a voiceover says something along the lines of: the 2008 Fusion, no matter how you drive Fusion can take it. I thought it was a pretty good ad. Maybe some of you have seen it already? Sorry about the description, it's not a very good one. EDIT: I looked for it on youtube, but couldn't find it.

No the Mountaineer is still around. I don't see very many either, so you're not alone. I see what you're saying about 'domestic strength' or whatever you'd like to call it, but as Mark B. Morrow said, I don't think it'd be a smart or financially/productionally sound decision to merge w/ Chrysler. It basically ads the dead weight that Ford has been working on cutting out back, IMO.

I don't remember ever seeing that ad. My uncle has a Marauder, he likes it.

I agree w/ this plan, although the MKC, IMO, should wait a while until the rest of the lineup has great quality (which it does already), is completely separate (design-wise, inside and out) from Ford, and has built it's own new following. Basically wait on the MKC until the new Lincoln lineup is established.
