  1. We purchased an 08 Expedition about 2 months ago, and have close to 2,000 miles on it. It's been flawless, and we love the 6 speed. My neighbor even went down and bought an 07 after seeing ours. BTW, LOVE the a/c seats, wish the new SuperDutys had that.
  2. At this point I'm being optomistic. The 6.0's are problematic by design, that is a fact. Don't get me wrong, I love mine, and would keep it forever if it'd last like our 7.3's - we have a couple of them with over 300,000 miles without any turbos/headgaskets/egr problems. I thought I had one of the "good" ones until the check engine light went on at 49K miles and my turbo went south. I'm not sure if thats a Ford problem, Navastar problem, or Garrett, but when the dealer tells me they keep extra turbo's in stock because they replace so many of them, that scares me. That being said, I think out of the gate the 6.4 is proving to be a better designed engine and they seem to have worked out a lot of kinks the 6.0 had - hopefully. Knowing what I know now about the 6.0, I'd take the chance on a new design and get the 6.4. I know that I'm going to get a new 08 within the next few months.
  3. The issues of the 6.0 HAVE NOT been worked out by 07, unless you consider its demise as being worked out. If I was looking at an 07 or an 08, hands down, it would be an 08. You REALLY don't want to own a 6.0 past its warentee period.
  4. Can it pull it? - yes Should you pull it? - No, IMHO. I see people pull 5ers that size and larger with 3/4 ton trucks because they can, but for the safety of your family and others, you should at least have a 1 ton dually. Maybe you should consider a smaller trailer, something within the safe towing capibilites of your truck. I wanted a larger trailer, but I ended up getting what my F-250 could tow within its specs. Good Luck
