  1. Hi, I really dont' know which are the differences, but the first source of information to explore it is the owners manual, sound simple but it always works. If you are planning to buy a new one, go to the dealer and ask for it. At least, it worked for me when I traded my Explorer 2002 for a new 2007 and I wanted to know about changes in the Control Trac option. Maybe this reply is too late, but it works Regards

  3. I'm agree, there is pure Explorer's DNA in the new concept. Patan4x4
  4. mhhh, maybe this functionality (bed divider) is now cover by the Cargo Cage/Bed Extender, that rightly fit for your model. You can use this to extend the bed or to divide it. When the cage is flipped inside the bed, it helps protect cargo from shifting. Hope this help.. Regards Patan4x4
  5. Hi there, try this and good luck. It applies for model 2001 - 2005, but try some additional search ... http://www.troyfordaccessories.com/Explore...plorersport.htm Patan4x4
  6. Click below to see the Explorer America Concept. Ford will showcase the new concept at The Detroit Auto Show this month. http://www.leftlanenews.com/ford-explorer-...ca-concept.html No longer a truck-frame based, anyway a very nice design ... pictures include. Patan4x4
  7. Thanks a lot, searching in the Audivox 's web site I found this another option to be installed in the hitch: http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...8&langId=-1 I think that I going to take this option, anyway if you are using the hitch towing a trailer, the Reverse Sensing System is not useful. Thanks again.
  8. Yeap, good point, even it can be a good gift for my wife. Any idea where can I get an aftermarket system? Thanks in advance.
  9. Well, to live outside the USA has some disadvantages. One of them is that you do not have the choice of configure the car you want. So you do not have more option than to buy the model that Ford sells in your country (EB without reverse sensor system). As Mike Jagger said ... sad, sad, sad.
  10. Congratulations !!! ... I have the same model but in Black, we changed our old Eddie Bauer 2002 by the new one. It is absolutely better in many aspects and features, but my wife still miss the Reverse Sensor System of the EB 02
  11. Yes, you are right !!!! ... maybe there were too much beers celebrating the end of the nightmare. It's fixed now. Happy new year !!!
  12. Hi there Similar problem I had. See my post for "Explorer 2007 - Whirring Sound from Dash, An intermittent whirring sound coming from under the dash". Problem was solved, maybe this give you a clue to find the origin. Happy new year !!! PS: Guys at Ford service dealer gave me the same explanation, but they were at 100 miles far away of real problem.
  13. Just in case someone wants to know what finally happens. Problem solved, It was located in the Intake Air System, a misplaced air filter was causing the noise that we finally heard in the dash. Very strange, but the noise disappear. Two very young guys were required to find the origin of the noise, my friend and me :beerchug: . One pressing the throttle and the another searching where the noise was coming, finally under the hood and not under the dash. A noise coming from the air intake system give him a clue, we only opened the air cleaner cover and reinstall the Air Cleaner (filter) with care and that was all. It tooks us only five minutes and a ride in the highway to make sure that everything was ok. Well, the guys at the Ford service dealer have something to learn, teamwork !!! Happy New Year !!!!!!!! :party2:
  14. Guys, there are a plenty of manuals in ebay.com. I got my explorer 2007 workshop manual in an auction last sunday. To get your wiring manual try this search in the ebay motors : 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Wiring Diagrams Manual ... at least two offers should be appear. If it doesn't work, I can sent you the direct link. This search is for a 2007 Sport Trac model, but I think that should be the same manual. I hope this help. Regards Patan4x4 PS: I'm not related with any ebay operations, I'm just a frequent buyer.
  15. Does someone know where could I find a list of the TSB issued by Ford so far? Thanks in advance. Patan4x4
