I guess our local voted for a local contract. The fine print didnt tell us of the changes. The COMPONY can tell us we have to work Saterday with only 1 hour notice. Yes I'm not the best at speelng but I can smell bull shit when it is near. KTP has no uion leadership and the way (why should I put it right) leadership has.... for a better word WE ARE FUCKED! Be glad you have a job! UAW!

I'm getting really sick of the UAW calling me to ask how I'm going to vote! I asked them to take me off there call list and that has not worked. Did I sighn up for something 19 years ago that said "you can call me whenever you want to get my vote"? They call me from 1(206)743-0228. Wa. USA. I will contact the FCC with hopes they can stop this. I joind a union to be a union member not to be harassed. On another note,how does the UAW get to share my info (mailing address phone number) without my consent? What else are they shairing I wonder? I get ads from former UAW members that have gone to work for dealerships.

I got a friend of mine that says his F150 was made in Canada. I did not think that F150 were made in Canada. I got nothing against Canada so dont hate. i just didnt think they were made there. Vin is 2FTRF18. I think the 2 is the key. any help?

I got a robo call sat. and sun. Most of the peeps I talked to got the same call. See I dont mind the union asking me to go vote. It does however when the union telling me how to vote! I was a yes vote untill they told me how to vote. I voted no. not like it matters but I will never again vote the way they want me to vote now. please dont bully me or tell me how to vote it will go the other way for you. Am I the only one?

I feel the same way. I like having time off but this launch is very important to Ford. But on the other hand it is also important that it be right before we bring it to market. Just enjoy the time off and when we do go back do the best job you can. Our jobs depend on our quality!

I work at KTP these facts come from the LAP building chairman. 98% of all cars sold in Korea were made in korea 96% of all cars sold in Japan are made in japan 78% of all cars sold in Europe were made in Europe 53% of all cars sold in America were made in America I remember when I hired in back in 93 we watched a lot of films. One film that stuck with me was a film That dealt with Japanese competition. It said that “ The Japanese don’t but American even when there in America, not because the price, or the quality, but because it’s not made in Japan”. Well that tells me that They are true patriots. They support all that is Japan. That’s when I think why cant we do that? We As Americans build everything better then everybody else. Maybe that’s my own personal view but it is my view. I try to buy American as best I can but it’s getting hard. I have to order my jeans online because I cant find American jeans sense Levi went overseas. What I’m trying to say is I do my part. It’s not just cars. Heck I even bought a Oreck vacuum made in USA. The best or worse conversation I had with a coworker last summer that was putting down jap cars. I asked if that was his boat in the parking lot? He said yah don’t it look good? I said you mean the one with the Yamaha motor on it? He said nothing. I got up and said it would look a lot better with a Evinrude on it. Point is we need to support all American manufacturing not just ours. Spend it where you make it.
