The meeting I was at never mentioned anything about jobs being posted at other plants. The employment office on Dixie Highway was the only pace to pick up applications or drop off the ones you got from the Co. Dan Weaver even said it made no sense to bring in transfers for the market share to drop and have to bump the low sen. out. You can take that for what its worth. Not even a month ago they all denied that any of this was going to happen at all. Lets not forget how their giving production jobs to the trades . this is the worst leadership in all of the UAW. THANK GOD ELECTIONS ARE COMING SOON.

Better hope something happens before they put shift on in Chicago.

I have talked to transfers from cleveland and it doesnt seem there that messed up. atleast they don't have trades doing production jobs. and they will reopen.

Local 1219 where do you get your information from?? I do believe Cleveland has the same line we do and was installed first. There not 2 years behind, the company is the one dictating when it will open. People in Lima need to get a clue. Our Union has been filling are heads with B.S. and everyone thinks it the gospel. Lima starts 4 10's next week on assy. 11 hrs in machining. no overtime unless over 10 hrs. then time and a half. Fri. would be like Sat. can force 2 for 1. Fri would be overtime allday if worked. Thats the latest .

Question, In Lima we are not allowed Ipods or any type of music on the Assy_line . What other plants have this Policy? We would like to know so we can try to get them. Thx

LEP and CEP were not even close to being the same. Union tried telling everyone just a couple of words were diffrent. They weren't even close. Lima wants Trades doing production jobs. Cleveland has trades supporting production Jobs. Big diffrence. VOTE no ON IMTS

Wow I guess it did happen. cant believe they didnt have proper access. Then to be escorted out because people were asking them questions. Just shows how much they want IMTS in Lima. So they can screw the membership even more.

If that is true it was the UNION in LIMA who asked the company to make them leave. That is what they are Company.

Lima assmblyman thanks for the correction on Bail. ill proof read a little better from here on out. Sorry 99% of you dont want us but your going to get more transfers. its just the way it is. as far as work ethic i work as hard as anybody in Lima. I even helped get some quality things taken care of when I got here. You have the same type of workers here as in cleveland. Lima just calls them special needs people. so before you run your mouth think a little. your local union staff is a little to friendly with management and IMTS are not the answer. Vote NO on IMTS do not give production jobs away.

That sucks seen it coming 6 months ago thats why i bailed. Now we need to vote out these IMTS here in Lima that will create about 30 openings. Good luck to all my friends in cleveland..
