  1. Don't congratulate me yet, I still have to finish it and get it published. As far as your question; More specifically, the way a car responds to turning, braking, weather. Many of the new EVs for instance have serious issues with bralking due to overaggressive regen and low rolling resistant tires.
  2. Those creationists never got the memo that the hebrew text from which Genesis is translated says 7 eras, not 7 days. King James was not exactly an expert on hebrew and aramaic. :D
  3. Who cares? I don't even understand what was said, what either of you think you said, or why your pulling out a dictionary.
  4. Not sure if this is true, but I was always told that teachers were prodominantly C students. Then again, so was I, and I get letters from mensa from time to time.
  5. So I'm writing a book on the unintended consequences of government auto regulations, more specifically the compromises in safety and control of vehicles. I would love to hear any input you guys have, whether it be opinions or personal experiences. I hope to have the book in print before the majority of MY2014 vehicles hit showroom floors. If the book is successful, I intend to make a significant contribution to BON amongst charities related to safe driving. Thanks in advance for any input. Please refrain from any political blame games.
  6. Seriously... Publishing this on 9/11. What kind of scum... And you LH, promoting it... ...You are without a doubt the most insensitively partisan person I have ever experienced in the internet world.
  7. It's an improvement over his senate record, where his most prevalent vote was "absent".
  8. The standardized testing isn't meant to rate the students. It's meant to rate the teachers. Those tests are remarkebly easy. If a teacher stands out as a failure on that mark, he/she deserves to be fired, and starve... Like the rest of us when we failed... In what seems like another world.
  9. At the range or in the bedroom? Oh snap! What about target practice in the bedroom? As far as I'm concerned, any shot center-mass is a goal. GOOOAAALLL!
  10. Just an observation; I think the differences is marketing between AV8SC and Nascar quite ironic, the former using homologated "SuperCars" which are nothing more than race modified street sedans, the latter using purpose-built "StockCars" that are vynil-wrapped with faux headlights to appear as if they're based on street sedans. Does anybody remember when the dodge crew goofed up on the transition from the charger to the challenger car... LOL.
  11. Sales of the Ariel Atom, BAC Mono, and KTM Crossbow would suggest a decent market for a street legal formula car. It might be a good marketing call, if only offered as a limited edition.
  12. You notice I said a vast majority of conservatives, not all. Even so, there's nothing wrong with cal profiting from smart decisions he made in the past to work for a superior company. Those profits would be earned from a natural market occurence; with marketshare being transfered from a failure to a successful business, requiring no government involvement. You prefer to manipulate the market, to steal the fruits of men's labor to artificially support a company that can't survive. You're arguing the point of a government that, literally, STOLE pensions, 401ks, mutual funds, and stock options from deserving americans to pay off the unions. THOSE PEOPLE ARE FUCKED. You don't care though, because they are the wrong kind of americans... The ones that risk everything to invest in this country and vote republican.
  13. A vast majority of conservatives vote for the countries best interest. That's what liberals don't understand. Self preservation is simply indignant, which is why your point only appeals to liberals.
  14. Considering that the USA is the only country founded on an idea and also the most influential country in history, I think it aggregiously sophomoric to try and challenge such an application with mere words.
  15. Maybe it's my dominant narcesistic mentality, but I could care less about their intentions. The story is true and serves my awareness. My awareness serves my assets, and allows me to make better financial decisions. Those decisions serve my employees everytime I make a payroll, and my clients everytime I make a shipment. I don't have the luxury of blissful ignorance on principle.
  16. I agree. The intellectual face of the democrat party is certainly of above-average liberal intelligence. Sarah Palin is certainly of above-average sex appeal.
  17. ...and this is why our country is in so much trouble. The sale of those stocks is public record, regardless of newsmax bias. You see, some of us actually do our research to find the truth, not pick and choose which data to ignore to confirm our perception of truth.
  18. Those are social conservatives. I can't stand their hypocrisy either. Fiscal conservatives (libertarians) are the ones who want free markets and less government. There's a big dfference.
  19. The best the president can hope for is that he's within 50 electoral votes of romney when the election is called.
  20. It was founded on masonic principles, by imperfect men. We walked on the moon. Enough said.
  21. Eh, I dont't think that's accurate. Perhaps Obama says he's sympathetic to sharia tenets, but I would never believe he actually supports implementation of sharia law unless he told me himself.
  22. What about Men's rights? Why is it that a woman has complete control of a father and child's destiny? That's two people, one potentially female, that have no control over their bodies. The child's body is potentially slaughtered, and the father has to completely change his lifestyle to accomodate the mother's will. If anything, the fascist democrats have a war on men.
  23. No turbo is bulletproof, but advances in bearing technology alone has improved longevity by several fold since then.
