  1. Careful, he didn't say it was a female. lol
  2. Wasn't it Tom Tracy that was called Tom "the bomb"? Wow, Tom Dietrich sure used some strong cologne.
  3. As much as I hate to admit it, you're pretty much on target with that assertion.
  4. Oh never mind, I see someone already posted it.
  5. I know there were supposed to be 7700 built between 2008 and 2009. Must be the majority were built in 2008 then. That gives me some idea of the ratio, though. Thanks for the information.
  6. I was hoping that whoever ran that operation over there would know the answer to that question and I was hoping he/she told others and it got around to someone on here. Maybe not.
  7. Thanks, I'm sure someone knows. I just may never find that person.
  8. Does anyone know or have an estimate of how many black Mustang Bullitts were built of the 7700 cars from the 2008-2009 limited production period? The only thing I could find by Googling it was some guy that thought around 10% were black and the rest were green. I'm curious how rare a black one might be down the road. Thanks for any positive feedback.
  9. The next presidential election might be the time for the independents to take power. God help us all.
  10. It's bean counters who are given full authority to do what they want as long as it cuts the bottom line without taking anything into consideration. BS.
  11. That's standard operating procedure at my plant. Oh and in General Stores if a part isn't requisitioned out within a year, they throw it away and do away with the set up! So when a machine goes down they have to order one. But they saved the space of storing it for awhile. What a great savings and what a way to run a company!
  12. How about when something breaks and stores says they don't have the part because it hadn't been used for a year so they threw it out. Or you need a part that isn't set up and you tell your boss and the next day they send you out again for the same thing and nothing had been done to get the part you needed. I wonder how the BIG companies do it!
  13. On a brighter note, I walked into the On The Border in Allen Park a couple days ago and was greeted by this sign. A lot of you probably already know about it, but I was happy to see support for our company. On The Border has great margaritas and great Mexican food if you've never been there.
  14. Hey level, it's good to see you back posting on this forum. I can always understand your examples and how it applies to the situation. Thanks for your input.
  15. It's not an automatic thing. We go shorthanded all the time. I think they agreed to cover the people attending this training, though. It seems it's a fight all the time to get coverage.
  16. Hey at least you gave us some overtime while you go to class! LOL!
  17. I was reading the comments and either I'm missing something or the Free Press deleted the bad comments. I don't see them. It went from "Rest in Peace" to "I can't believe the immature comments.....". Hopefully they did delete them.
  18. I still can't believe that auto industry people can be Republicans. It just boggles my mind. Until I got on this forum I had no idea they were out there. Crazy.q
  19. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091211/ap_on_...t_executive_pay WASHINGTON – The Obama administration's pay czar is limiting the cash compensation for executives at companies that received the largest taxpayer bailouts to $500,000 and delaying some other payouts. The rules apply to the 25th through the 100th top earners at Citigroup, GMAC, American International Group and General Motors. Treasury says about 12 executives were granted exemptions to the $500,000 cash cap. Treasury pay czar Kenneth Feinberg already announced specific pay packages for the top 25 earners at firms he oversees. He says the new rules apply only to the second half of December but will affect many executives' bonuses and stock grants. Feinberg's rulings don't apply to Bank of America because its bailouts were repaid this week. Chrysler and Chrysler Financial also were exempt because executives there made less than $500,000.
  20. I think before they invest in any more countries they should be paying down some of this "debt" they've been crying about and how they are disadvantaged because of it. Blah.
  21. Right, if anything it gives Ford good PR which might help in overall sales of other brands made in the U.S. Just a thought.
  22. Exactly! If they can do that, why can't we say in the middle of a contract "Ya know Ford Motor Company, economic times force me to NOT be able to live up to this agreement, so I'm not following it. Lets open this up and you can give us more". See how that would fly with them!!
  23. I don't think it was that they didn't do a good job selling it. How about it just sucked? How about we're sick of giving shit back? How about they didn't really need this stuff except for screwing us in the future? How about we're pissed that they haven't done what they said they would in the last agreement? How about all that, Ron?? How about you're a fucking sell out and company suck ass? Didn't sell it well...WTF ever.
  24. Ford already agreed to most of those product commitments in the last modification we passed! They were just reconfirming their commitments to them on this mod that we voted down. But they are still part of the last mod we voted for. So how about making them finally live up to them now?
