  1. That is a great question Joe Doe. Eagle is one person trying to run his line of BS about being 4 different people so no one can figure out who he is. Get a life Eagle and man up to the fact that you are only one person posting. SO back to the question, HOW DO YOU KNOW LANCE?
  2. Awesome. Did your guy win? I thought you were predicting the election at VanDyke Eagle. You do try to have your nose deep in the thick of things.
  3. Well do you really think there will be that much abuse of the moving allowance system. The bumping around would only take place if there was a lay-off. You would not be able to just say let me move to Portland and knock out the low guy. How is a zone system fair to a guy in say KTP that is hitting the streets, but he has seniority over most of Zone #1 & 2 in Michigan? Do they say sorry Charlie & good luck after all your benies run out. :shades:
  4. I agree VD, either one or the other. Although, I have never liked seeing people on the street with 20-30 years seniority in one part of the country with people in other parts of the country with 5-15 years still working. They need to come to agree to one way or the other and stop screwing with it.
  5. Wow, 4 guys under one name. Sounds like a bunch of BS to me. If it is true, why don't the rest of you idiots get your own ID? The Eagle is a retired VanDyke wokrer from what I have heard. So now they are saying Miller is running. Wow, the list keeps growing N growing. Next thing you know Morris will be saying he is running too. This election will show how big of a joke things are right now.
  6. I have said before, Lance is definately the clear leader here. As far as Foster running, if it is true, I would have to say he is the one Mod got to run. You have to in all of this realize that Mod will get someone to run that is on the Modsquad.
  7. Wow the list is getting huge. I heard a couple more, but they may be rumor just like half the list you already have on here. I heard all the guys that ran for Prez are running for Plant Committe. 2) Buffalo 3) Paul Lafave 9) Ken (The Puppet) Lambert 10) Dan Mazanka 11) Dave Roby 12) Dominic Giasone Also heard a guy from Utica, but I can not remember his name. 13) Utica guy If we go with experience, it will be Lance hands down. Good luck to whoever wins. They will be putting up with Mod's BS every day for the next year or so. :happy feet:
  8. So can you tell me why it does not belong in the employee section? I work for FORD and I was just asking what people thought about Honda STEALING some of the FORD looks.
  9. Has anyone viewed pics of the Honda Insight Concept? Looks like Honda is swiping some of the Ford grille looks. It looks like a cross between the edge and the focus. What do you think?
  10. Well Levis have not been American Made as far as I know for some time now. I do know a place you can buy Union & American clothes. It is one of many. If you want. I will get together some of the websites and post them here. For now, here is one of them that for sure has clothes all made in USA and some Union made. http://www.allamericanclothing.com/
  11. Okay, I can agree with you on the Mulally and those at the top part. I know they do not give a rats ass about us, but I truly believe that the more we support american companies, the better chance they will have to succeed. I do not like that we assemble cars in Mexico, but the profits still come back to America, not Japan, Korea or China. I want to work at Ford another 20 years and get a retirement. So do you feel that buying foreign crap will not hurt us then? Here is something I got out of an article from a link above. Arguably, the most American of all vehicles right now is Ford's hulking 2007 Ford Expedition, a USA TODAY check of government listings, manufacturers and dealer sales lots reveals. The SUV is composed of 95 percent U.S. or Canadian parts, and it was made in Michigan. Ford's new Edge crossover and the Crown Victoria sedan also have 95 percent components, but both they are assembled in Canada. Detroit's Big 3 derived about 77 percent of its parts for U.S. and Canadian factories from domestic sources. That compares with less than 50 percent for Japanese brands, according to the Automotive Trade Policy Council. Among Japanese brands, Honda had the most domestic content at 59 percent.
  12. So are you in fact a Ford worker? If so, why don't you go buy a Kia because they are so cheap. Then when you eventually lose your job at Ford, you will have no one to blame but yourself. Some people should take their head out of their ass and they might realize why we should make every attempt to "Buy Union" & "Buy American"....
  13. I sure hope the MPG you mentioned is accurate, because if so, I may have to go look at one. The biggest downfall I saw besides the price, was the MPG posted on that same sticker. All in All, I can see it growing on me. :hyper:
  14. Damn you are extremely quiet the last couple days. I feel it is time for all of the crap on both sides of the fence to end. As a union how do we get stronger if we continue to attempt to knock one another down? Besides a crap appointment & the real crap story that Deitz wanted to call a story, the 2280 guys are doing a stand-up job. From what I hear from the guys at 228, wakeup & company are doing a good job also. Why not get past this and work to make each of OUR own locals strong again. :reading:
  15. So what is all this dirt that is supposed to be coming out on Ken? By the way wakeup, how come you insist on hiding your true identity? I believe that you said Mod & Ken know who you are. If that is true, then why do they not tell the membership who you are? I know alot of people would be more than happy to know who this guy is on here that spews forth so much crap about our Local. :happy feet:
