I usually dont like to add fuel to the fire BUT, this question has already been answered. Obviously KCAP being far more superior in quality and the number of employees it takes to build these trucks rightfully deserves the nod to proceed full steam ahead. Taking the launch from DTP only put another feather in thier cap. I was told by a reliable source (LION-KING) that by 2012 michigan would have 2 truck plants and DTP wasn't one of them. I don't know what it's worth but he has been right the last 3-times.I guess we'll have to just wait and hope things turn around so we can ALL go back to work.

I agree 100% ! These idiots are handed everything imaginable to build a quality truck and successful launch, did they do either? NO. Thanx for repeating what I said 2 months ago ,when I was told this very same information. First,I said KCAP would be getting the launch from dtp & dbs, because they just FUCK everything up and with more employees. second, BOB said K.C. would be building all 150's by 2010. I guess we will wait and see while the union makes some calls and gets back to us.

Thanks for the info , good luck with the launch and and have a safe vac. I thought all along that KCAP should take the launch as these folks in DTP & DBS haven't a clue on how to launch a vehicle! It's no secret that when EDISON, N.J, people arrived in KC they brought up the quality and skyrocketed K.C, to the top. However these morons were giving the same talent and they still managed to screw things up here!!.

Was told by reliable source that come October our plant is targeted for shift reduction to 1-shift! I hope this isn't true, but the source has been right on his information so far . On more than three occassions that I have spoken with him over the past few years he has been dead on! Hopefully they(ford) will shed some light on this by mon-afternoon after the big meeting in headquarters.
