  1. not scared of her, ima. just scared of her idealism. oh, and ima? i found your likeness in the talking toy section. hope you like it.
  2. damn, ima. you're a freaking lunatic. it doesn't matter what anyone writes, you just keep posting the same bullshit over and over. what the heck are you talking about, anyway? the only people who follow al gore are you right wingers, so you guys can call in to the sean hannity show or bill o'riley and bitch. no right winger actually has any solutions to any problems, they just like to point out the problems that liberals cause. sounds like a real winning strategy to me. yes, sir. real winners, ima, hannity, o'riley, laura ingram, the whole lot of you complainers. you don't read what anyone posts here, do you? you're like one of those kids talking toys, where you pull the string and it talks. the question is, who pulled your string? oh, by the way, who's WE? i really doubt anyone is looking to you to solve the terrorism problem. if i were to run into someone like you on the street, i'd call the funny farm.
  3. uh, yeah. the moment asian countries quit being protectionist with their own industries, maybe we can have a conversation about what is "fair". until then, sorry, 'yota!
  4. the biggest problem with the people against any talk of the environment is they forget that pollution control is still important. i don't know if there is global warming or not. what i do know: when left unchecked, pollution in cities gets bad enough to kill. see mexico city. see los angeles, even after all the "enviros" as you call them have tried to reduce it. so you hate the idea of global warming so much, great. i don't blame you for not wanting to pay for something that may just be a blip in our global temps and weather patterns. but don't take that hatred and apply it to any pollution control at all. we really do have to take stock in what we spew into the air and what we dump into out rivers, lakes, streams and oceans. i know plenty of people who still piss and moan about catalytic converters and the cost of scrubbers for coal fired plants, recycling is a joke, etc. those are the same people who pour their dirty motor oil into a hole in their back yards and drain their antifreeze while parked in the street and let it go down the sewer. we should keep a concerned eye toward the climate issues. it's important to know if we, in fact, cause it. if we don't, GREAT! but moving backward toward a complete disregard for the environment is totally unacceptable.
  5. and ima keeps telling us how GREAT palin is. dude, you really sound like you have been waiting your whole life for a strong, fiesty woman to take charge. sounds like you should visit some s&m sites to take care of that.
  6. running around? sounds like you've got your wires crossed, napper. i'm sitting here calmly laughing about your name for palin. "barracuda". wow, i think i will strive my whole life NOT to be called a barracuda..... read some of the comments of your fellow conservatives. it's not stereotyping when they make racist remarks. palin gets much more press than she deserves because mccain has put her in a position to possibly be president of the most powerful country on earth. even if she was the most lowly person on earth, being put in that position would gain her exactly this level of scrutiny. i don't like biden. i don't think he adds to obama's ticket. but thanks for bringing him up to deflect the argument from palin. that's just brilliant, and typically republican.
  7. no, sorry. i don't read all of the content. once i get to falsehoods and downright lies, i just stop reading. i don't need to read the rantings of rightwing racists and/or rednecks. when conservatives close their minds to the truth and begin to manufacture history via "the good old days" of ronald reagan, then everyone loses. conservatives, listen up. the world changes. if you don't change with it, and you hold fast to your age old ideas of business and social issues, you are destined to lose touch. much like the US has lost touch. strongarming the rest of the world doesn't work anymore. deficit spending doesn't work anymore. none of the tenants of conservatism really work anymore.
  8. i like them both for different reasons. the escape looks like a tough little suv, and having owned one, i think it is. however, i really like the look of the kuga.
  9. it's pretty much a case of this: 1. are we better off than we were 8 years ago when the republicans took the white house? 2. see #1. easy.
  10. timmm, great point! seriously, imawhosure, you need to take a break. you're going to blow a gasket. keep your lists shorter, ima. it's really a lot of work to read through your exclamation points and all that. the only list you need is this: 1. are we better off now than we were when the republicans took office 8 years ago? 2. see #1. easy.
  11. yes, RAWS, she is a lunatic, and a complete hypocrite. anyone who uses god's name to do their dirty work is a lunatic, and anyone who preaches one thing and does another is a hypocrite. i figured since you're into word games you may need some help. maybe you're a short bus rider. if clinton did this, if clinton did that...hmmm. you bought that republican story hook, line, and sinker. we can all just picture clinton and bin laden having lunch at mcdonald's together. too bad the republican regimes CREATED such animosity through aggressive foreign policy. the country is in financial shambles, we're at war with the wrong country, we still can't get control of the oil situation, and you're STILL defending the party that gave us all that. now THAT's a dumbass for you.
  12. good old mccain....he's whatever people want him to be.
  13. i think the v6 selection will make a bigger difference if any import buyer is even thinking about a mustang. import buyers laugh big belly laughs at the 4.0. it's just too rough. if the 3.5 comes in a higher performance version, paired with a sporty suspension and a manual transmission, i would consider it over the v8.
  14. ima, you are a raving lunatic. you need a fact checker and some sedatives. from that half hour long rant, you have conjured up images of the republicans as great saviors of the american way. on the contrary, if we keep on with the current republican way of life, we'll be at war for another millenium, probably with more countries that DON'T have anything to do with terrorism. think about it...the biggest tax increase the world has ever known comes in the form of paying billions of dollars a month for a war. thanks george and company! what will sarah do? she'll make sure we all believe in HER idea of god. she talks about it every time she gets a chance. you know, there are other religious zealots we know all too much about (muslim extremists) who want us to bow down to THEIR god, too. religious extremism, christian or otherwise, is scary. therefore, palin is scary too. palin can keep her extemism in her home state. let's just hope the republican lemmings aren't so starstruck by a tough talking pro-lifer that they don't see the real danger of putting her anywhere near the whitehouse.
  15. i love it when hick republicans call liberals stupid. it's so cute. republicans...people too rich to care and too poor to think.
  16. as long as it's a right wing wacko site, the information is believed without question. it's just the way they work. no sense in letting facts get in the way of complete partisanship...
  17. ford gt. it's hard to believe that our conservative ford motor company pulled out the stops to make that bad boy. sprinkle a little of that love in every fomoco product and we're in business!
  18. using domestic/foreign car purchases as a liberal or conservative action is ludicrous. people on this board like to equate liberals with buying foreign, and conservatives as buying domestic. that's horseshit. just take a look at any church parking lot on sunday morning...full of camry's and accord's. much of my family is part of the religious right, and they all swoon over the toyota line (lexus included) as if it was the second coming. most of them admit their dream car is the prius. if car choice is supposed to be patriotic, then why don't all conservatives drive american cars? why don't the hannity "great americans" all drive domestic? hypocrites, maybe??
  19. conservatism is like a disease. you get so afraid of change and anything outside of your kitchen window that you just shut down and become a parrot for whatever right wing religious zealot comes along. don't let the conservatism virus get you!!!!
  20. camry. an appliance that people buy out of fear. fear of risk, fear of non conformity, etc.
  21. all good points, matthew. if it's resulting in a better police presence where it really matters, it's a success. i wish i felt that it was doing the same here.
  22. i'd say the engine thing is an issue. perception of quality, yeah that's a good one too. my take? conservatism. they are conservative to a fault, never taking the lead and sticking with the same old path too long.
  23. well put, ranger, and your points are obviously lost on a lot of people here. sad, but the slippery slope that we descend when giving over rights and freedoms is tough to climb back up.
  24. oval, if the 0-60 time of a hyundai can cause jealousy in a human being, we are all doomed. get over yourself.
