I highly doubt that Diamler will out do ford any time soon much less at all, anything they make is enther met or surpassed by ford. just look at their trucks ford has them in power, looks, and that beautiful blue logo!!

Yeah they fixed the problem with the clean diesel filter regeneration causing the flame. my dad has one and it is a relly sweet truck but he uses a lariat as a work truck so the interior and the exterior have taken a bit of a beating but still a relly sweet good looking truck.

Ford is the only way to go if you want quality and power these days.

well that would be really cool if we he had the money to do so, but he is looking to build a really strong N.A. engine, with the stock 2.5L as the base. Thanks a lot for you time and imput if you have any other suggestions that would be great.

Does anyone know of any places to get cheap preformance parts for a 2000 SVT contour? I am helping a friend look for parts. Thanks for all of your help.
