  1. I agree bandit. Everyone talks a good talk on here and yet when it comes to voting only skilled trades show up in solidarity to do soo. Also I think that we should have had a production guy up there instead of Larry. I'm not bashing him but we need productions best interest in mind also. Why is it that we can have all skilled trades up there for committee yet they are getting ready to have a special election for trades on 3rd shift? Why can't it just be a commitee person? If they can represent production we should be able to represent skilled. Last but not least. Why aren't they replacing Rich Dunford on midnights? They are covering with his alternate. Which isn't right! He wasn't elected committeman he ran for alternate. :beatdeadhorse:
  2. Grow up! We all know your axleman. OOOOh you wanna fight and by the way I didn't say you were appointed. :titanic: :pig: :beatdeadhorse:
  3. Why is nobody concerned with this FAIR TRADE AGREEMENT!!!!.[/size] the union has not even touch that issue.
  4. No it wasn't another DOOLEY deal that came straight from the whor@s I mean the horses mouth. Maybe she should know when to keep her mouth shut. :banana piano: :party2:
  5. Oh and Rich dunford being appointed. Guess what there are only 4 apprentices in the building and we need a rep for that! Yeah right.
  6. I heard if you lie down with dogs you wake up with fleas!!!
  7. FYI : For all the people who do not show up to vote it is an automatic YES vote.
  8. We feel you up here at the Sterling Plant. God Bless
  9. The saddest thing about it is that if it were say an election. They would contact everyone in the directory to come vote for them. BUY AMERICAN
  10. Honey, there isn't enough chapstick to go around! Because the line is tremendous.
  11. They were forced to take the buy outs.
  12. PLEASE! All of us brothers and sisters of 228 who know people who are laid off and can contact them. PLEASE, do so. VOTE NO In Solidarity
  13. I AGREE! HELL NO! All these concession they want us to take when I guarentee all of you this time next year the big 3 will go back to Congress and say we need to cut pay and health benefits. I didn't see where Plant Managers and Upper Management were taking pay cuts! They make $200,000.00 a year and get Co. vehicles with free gas. I thought the cuts were going to be made across the board. (Yeah right) Who do they think is buying their vehicles! Last contract we gave up the 3% check we were suppose to get in the last year of the contract. Now we are suppose to just say sure take everything. I'm pretty sure that the men and women back in the 40's & 50's who fought for what we have today are either turning over in their graves or the survivors are just utterly disgusted on what our UNION is giving into today! How many jobs do we have to lose. Start ORGANIZING in these smaller plants that have no Health & Safety, health care, or even JOB SECURITY. Bring our wages and benefits in line with Mullaly's and other corperate exects and then we can talk!
  14. FYI! Brdak has not represented production his last 3 terms. Just this one. Because someone was cut. I hear he's not that great for us. "SORRY" but we need a production person up there! Has anyone but skilled trades been posting on this topic, because if so it has been stated numerous times on here that we have different contracts (production and trades) it is in our best interest as production to not elect another skilled trades rep. for us. The reason behind ALL of these guys getting involved is their own political agendas (President, Plnt. Chair., Plnt. Comm., or even Committeeman.). ALL they want is votes! Anywhere they can sit and do nothing after they get what it is thay want. Once they get them they could care less about us. As sad as it may sound we all know it is true.
