  1. We would like to grow old comfortably. We would like to get back what we contributed. We would like to see our union brothers and sisters have the same. Opportunities are disappearing because the International UAW has decided to protect millionaires and billionaires and squeeze the working class. That's not the American Dream! The American Dream is having security and knowing your kids can have security too. To be able to live a decent life, without fear about the next round of takeaways. The American dream is not just to make a profit, but to be able to sleep at night. But the basic needs of our members are being threatened by those we entrusted to guard it! We cannot let a bad contract kill our union. Stand up! Unite! Be heard! Make a difference! VOTE NO!

  3. I have no idea who fishman is. My real name is on the bottom of my post. I have integrity and believe in transparency. Traits that you said were not Democratic. (LOL) I have no need to hide my opinion. What is your real name again TFer?
  4. BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF ISA LOCAL 900: AT THIS TIME IN EACH OF OUR LIVES WE ARE BATTLING NOT ONLY THIS TOUGH ECONOMY, THE LOSS OF OUR JOBS, WATCHING OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY LOSE THEIR JOBS, AND THE NEGATIVE LOOK UPON OUR UNION FROM THE MEDIA AND THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITIES. WE ARE NOW FORCED TO FIGHT AGAINST ONE ANOTHER. ANOTHER GREAT TESTIMONY TO THOSE WATCHING AND WONDERING WHAT GOOD IS A UNION IF THERE IS NO SOLIDARITY AND THE UNION DOES NOT STEP IN TO PROTECT CONTRACTUAL LANGUAGE. HERE INSIDE OUR OWN FACILITY WITH OUR OWN BROTHERS AND SISTERS! THIS IS NOT A PHYSICAL FIGHT BUT ONE OF EMOTIONS AND THE COMPANY'S ABILITY TO CONQUER US AND DIVIDE US. WE ALL KNOW THAT OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS ARE EVEN TELLING HIGH HOUR EMPLOYEES TO VIOLATE THE CONTRACT VOLUNTARILY AND SOME OF OUR MEMBERS ARE CONSIDERING ACCEPTING VOLUNTARY OVERTIME FOR THIS WEEKEND, WHILE KNOWING THE PROCESS USED TO OFFER THESE MEMBERS WAS IN NO WAY IN AGREEMENT OF OUR CONTRACT OR THE INTENT OF THAT LANGUAGE. IF YOU PERSONALLY OR HAVE A FRIEND THAT YOU KNOW HAS BEEN PUT IN THIS SITUATION BY OUR COMPANY, AND THE LOCALS INABILITY / APATHY TO PREVENT IT, PLEASE ASK THEM TO FOLLOW THE CONTRACTUAL LANGUAGE AS THEY WOULD EXPECT OF YOU! WHEN THINGS ARE BACK TO BEING DONE FAIRLY, ETHICALLY AND MORALLY BY THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL GET THEIR TURN. ASK THEM TO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO CONQUER THE MORALS AND DIGNITY THAT WE AS UNION MEMBERS HAVE LEFT
  5. I was laid off from Michigan Truck January 20th indefinitely. On February 23 I was picked up by Wayne Isa. Does this mean I will have home plant return to work rights? Their is still fellow trades working at MTP.
