  1. Has any one with a Fusion Energi retail order (not dealer order) been scheduled to be built and/or received a VIN? Just wondering if the car has been "Ok'd to Buy" yet. Regards, APM
  2. I'm sure the dealer is trying to hold out for more profit, however, they already agreed to sell me a car on X-Plan and they have my $1000 deposit, so I'm buying from them at X-plan price no matter what. Does it really make that much difference to them to take the profit now vs, a couple of months later at the latest when the car I ordered arrives? They have at least 3 on order plus my order. In the end they will sell 3 at sticker or higher and 1 at X-Plan no matter what. Also, there isn't much difference in price between the silver one I ordered and the black that is coming in... Only the color and $100 in options (All weather floor mats and cargo net) are the differences. Can you comment on how allocation works? Let's say that the 3 they order was their allocation for the period, will my order get be held up until they get more allocation? How long is the allocation period? One month? Quarter? If it helps I can give you the name of the dealer. Thanks for your insight! Regards, APM
  3. Hi Fusionfan11, I ordered a Fusion Energi Titanium (X-Plan) from a dealer in Miami, FL. At the time I placed the order I was not aware they had any Energi's on order, but a couple of days later Energi's started showing up in their inventory. Currently they have 3 Energi Titaniums on order, and none of those is the one I ordered. Etis shows that two of them have been built and it is still not built. How does allocation work? Do I stand a chance of mine being built any time soon since they already have 3 on order? I haven't seen any other dealer in the area with more than one Fusion Energi on order. I'm trying to get the dealer to agree to sell me the first one that comes in, which looks like it will be one equipped as I want, only in black instead of silver, but since I ordered with X-Plan they are refusing to sell it to me for the time being. Of course, I will go to the dealer as soon as I know the car is there, but I was hoping to get the deal done so that there is no chance they will sell it to someone else. Thanks, APM
  4. Today I received the first of 3 brouchers I ordered, and it had the $750 Private Offer :banvictory: I'm happy!!! But now the wait continues... Still no VIN in sight for my order! Regards, APM
  5. I decided on the Titanium because of the Push Start, Intelligent Key and the upgraded Sony stereo. My wife drives a 2013 Explorer without those features and I really like them. Regards, APM

  9. I ordered a 2013 Fusion Energi Titanium using X-Plan (from Mustang Club of America) from Metro Ford in Miami, FL. The whole negotiation was over the phone, I didn't have to go there even once, even though they are only about 10 miles from me. The requested a deposit of $1000 which I gave to them using my credit card. After I ordered mine I realized that the dealer had one already on order with a VIN already assigned an a build week of 2/4/13. I called the dealer to try to exchange the one I ordered for the one with the VIN assigned thinking I would be able to take delivery much sooner. Unfortunately the manager was not willing to do the exchange, at least not using the X-Plan. I told the sales person to call me when the first Energi got to the dealer. I will go to the dealer at that time and try to negociate the exchange again. Other dealers in the area such as Sawgrass Ford was not willing to take the X-Plan, even though I have purchased two vehicles from them... 2013 Explorer Limited (X-Plan) and 2010 Fusion Hybrid (not X-Plan, only $500 below sticker). Other dealers could not even place an order for the car because they were not electric certfied (Plantation Ford, Gus Machado Ford). Regards, APM
  10. Last week I ordered 3 brochures. I have yet to receive any of them... Hopefully I will get at least one to use on the Fusion Energi Titanium I ordered last week. Regards, APM
  11. I ordered a Ingot Silver Fusion Energi Titanium on 2/4/2013... no further informaton from the dealer other than the order was place. The next couple of months will be very long waiting for the car to arrive. Regards, APM

    Dealer Stock

Hi, I purchased my 2010 FFH from Sawgrass Ford in Sunrise, FL about 10 days ago. They are only discounting the price by $500 from Sticker, but they don't have dealer fees. They traded a Ice Blue with Black Interior for the Grey with Black that I was looking for. The dealer that had what I was looking for was not willing to go below sticker and wanted $800 as dealer fee. About a year ago I went to this same dealer (not Sawgrass Ford) to look at the FEH and they were asking $5000 over sticker (those were the days of the $4 gallon of gas!!!). Sawgrass Ford has at least 4 (maybe more) hybrids in stock. The sales guy I worked with was Gary Davidoff. Good luck in your search!!! APM
