1. Using firefox 4. Maybe your onto something. I'll see if IE gives me the same results. Thanks
2. winterfrost Train is still sitting at Bingcprs, NY,,, must be a Junction Point, not a town... taking a break, i guess
3. I dissagree with that. Being build on a friday or monday image may have been true many years ago, but certainly not in recent years. They are in fact all of the same quality. What might happen every once in a while is, that a supplier has a "bad run". Once ford is aware of it, they act quickly to correct it. Again, i hope all goes well and you give ford time to fix your truck
4. A little premature to get a laywer involved. Here is what i would do Go back and talk with the service manager....find out if they have contacted ford regarding your problems. If they did, then you would want to know details. And if no satisfatory answer is given to you, then demand a ford rep. to come and look at your truck. If they did not, then i would go have a chat with the owner. Now, if a ford rep. decides that there is "no problem" or they cant fix it, it's time for arbortration process to begin, or get legal advice. document all conversations and visits to the service department. Lot's of luck
5. Maby there is one and i just cant find it.... Anyway, here is my question When i edit a post i made, i usually get this
inbetween sentence's. Can anybody tell me what i am doing wrong/ Thanks
6.
I dont have details yet as to what happens after it's off the rail car. I suspect they are put in a yard to be shipped by convoy whenever they have a truck full that goes in the area, your dealer is in. Dont look for it till at least July2
Anything with rail transport is slow as molasses.
I had a MKX build in Oakville. It was build June 6 and is still sitting at the yard to be shipped.
Took 18 hours to build and takes all this time to be put on a truck. I live 90 minutes from the Oakville plant, but the problem is, that they dont have a full load for my area. Which is causing the holdup.
It'll get here...so is yours.

8. In Transit Arrived at Intermediate Point (Norfolk Southern Corp ) Bufbison, NY Jun-15-2011, 02:57 ETA Jun-30-2011
9. I'm positive that the ones involved in the lawsuit have been told by the lawyer to keep quiet. The only way to know for sure is to join. I haven't, but i am considering it. Something just does not feel just right about the whole financial issue, including the severance package. Not sure as of right now, if it's gas or gut instinct.
10. winterfrost Relax, it's on the way. In Transit Shipped Rail - Railcar # NS 171193 (Norfolk Southern Corp ) Waiting is hard... i know... i am waiting for mine too. Was ordered April 18.... 8 weeks is not so bad.
11. For the most part, vehicles at STAP are loaded and shipped within 24 hours. Havent got a clue as to why they sit around at Autoport's lot's that long. Shortage of railcars and trucks i assume. I had a MKX build in Oakville last week and it is still sitting there, waiting for shipment. Takes 18 hours to build and way to long to deliver to dealers. If ford would offer factory pickup, i'd have it already and it would ease whatever shipping backlog issues they have with Autoport. Guys that ordered mustangs are waiting wayyyy to long as well as F150 orders. They better get there shit togetter.
12. I'll look it up about noon tomorrow
13. SOLD TO / SHIP TO / SHIP THROUGH info will only show on the real sticker
14. It was build on June 3rd. Awaiting Shipment ETA Jun-12-2011 at your dealer
15. All you'r reasons are valid, exept you left the major cause out of you'r list. The exodus of jobs has been going on for 40 years and has picked up speed. The only thing that will fix Americas economy is to get them back!
16. I relize that apple computer was an example. Ships going back empty was meant as in .....a huge trade deficit and loosing jobs.
17. When buying a apple computer from bestbuy, that is made in ten-buck-two, instead of here, yes...american company "apple and bestbuy" are makeing a profit, which is good. Problem with it though is that it affects Americans in the way of not having the job to build it. If you apply that practice across all products, which has happened to a great deal, our goose is cooked. Therefore we have high unemployment/poverty and foreclosures. Everything i can do with a imported "apple" computer , i can do with a domestically produced computer and have the best of both worlds. And if i happened to be employed by that computer company, i can go buy something that you make from whatever company you work for. The fact that buying things made elsewhere has put a almost fatal beating on the north American economy is undeniable. Back in the early 1900's, when America started building it's economic powerhouse, it was done mostly through hands-on bluecollar work. Not all that much was imported. Certainly not steel/drywall and mushrooms, amongst all to many other products. Trade is good, but not if the empty ships going back to china take our jobs with them.
18. Yes, you get the 7 and 4 pin without the max tow max tow also gives you Super Engine Cooling/Auxiliary Transmission Cooler Upgraded Rear Bumper w/class 4 Hitch (Bumper Mounted) http://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/specifications/towing/
19. I totally agree. Seems like the same old colors year after year. We definitely need more colors to choose from as well.
20. Nobody is questioning Americas freedom. And yes. people have been and are buying what they want. For America to be great again and get it away from the threat of bankruptcy, is to stop sending it's jobs and money elsewhere. Obama can only keep his money printing machines running on overtime, as long as the US dollar has it's world currency status. When, not if.....Chinese currency takes over, we're done...! Not just the USA, but Canada too.
21. I'd say, about a week or so. Depends if it has to go to Crown or not . Crown is where they install DVD players in the seats and install a few other things that ford decided to contract out. They have usually setup shop near ford plants. That would add 1 to 3 days. Lately they been having problems with the trucking outfit that delivers it's cars to dealers. Strike or contract issues, i believe. There seems to be a backlog in delivering F150's. If you give me you're VIN, i can check on it later in the day.
22. Lincoln has reduced the "free" oil changes from 4 to 2 years. That does not help. They need to at least make lincolns look different from it's ford equivalent by re-skinning them. I'm sure, they could come up with a much better looking grill too. Specifically on the MKX, which is oversized.
23. That's why we need better legislation in regards to labeling. I recently was looking for a 80Gal air compressor. It soon learned that just about all of them are totally made in china. Some are assembled here, but with imported pumps and motors. The only all american compressor i found was Quincey. And that is what i bought. Cost more then Chinese units but i wouldn't have it any other way. I have lots of dewalt tools, but i will switch to Milwaukee tools, as many dewalt's are made in china now . Went to buy snow tires last fall....many of them are made in china too....i kept looking till i found some with made in USA on them. And i am canadian..... In the end....we simply can not afford to keep loosing out manufacturing jobs. We already lost way to many. Unless we insist on american made, and are willing to pay more, even cheap Chinese crap will become to expensive, in time, when we are forced to work for less pay. Yes, i buy imported stuff when no other option exists, but i let it be known that i am not happy with it. My wife opened a can of mushrooms a few weeks ago, and she notice "made in china" on the can. Jesus H. Christ...................She now is checking the cans before she put's them in her cart! Politicians are talking about creating new jobs....yeahh...new government jobs and poor paying part time jobs maby. The ONLY thing that will save us, is bringing our jobs back from wherever they are. But nobody ever talk about that. Do you're research before you buy! We cant afford to pay less for imports!!!
24. True....i noticed canadian pricing is higher on just about all products, compared to the USA. Price ajustments can be made on the fly. It appears, that they sooner let canadians pay more. I suppose it's canadians own fault for not simply sitting on our money till price adjustments are made.
