NADA The info in that block means nothing. The dealer can find the actual method of shipping and unless you are close (realitve) to the factory that produced your truck, it's highly likely it's going on rail to somewhere and then transported via truck to the dealer. Mine says Convoy and it's going on a rail car from the KC plant to Virginia Beach and then truck to Fredericksburg.

And why would someone post anything about their neighbors or neighborhood on a truck forum??

FYI If you square off with the lot leach prior to the truck arriving they can get the LineX installed at a discounted price over what you can get yourself and the dealer will have the truck there and back before you get it. Quote to me for my EcoBoost long bed was $468.00 plus tax. Dealer doing it $405.00 and I don't have to mess with it.

Sent for a new brochure as the $750 I had expired. New brochue arrived with no rebate coupon.

I have seen the back up camera that shows in the rear view mirror. Kind cheezy so I didn't get one with my XLT order. $450.00 for it. If you bought the Nav then it would display on the screen there which looks to be more useful. It would have been nice for hooking up the boat but I have done it for 30 years without it. No back up sensors. Annoying beeping is not for me. The dumbo mirriors are just like my SuperDuty and that kept me from hitting anything.

Really depends on your truck configuration as to how quickly they get built. But the salesmans lips were moving so he was lying.

Unoffical non-Ford response: You order and give the dealer $500.00 bucks. Salesman lies about if they actually have an allocation to even order you a truck and says 6-8 weeks no matter what. Ford accepts order and does not have the lines running to process the trucks, nor do they have enough suppliers to feed the line. Most of them went belly up when automakers filed and got our tax payer support funds. The Tier 1-3's didn't get a bailout. *I really wanted that Mahindra diesel too! :rolleyes: Production lines start with limited employees based on who they called back. Senority rules of course. Not performanced based. Parts trickle in and your truck is built. End of story.
