  1. Hope you had a great Vaca! The Eagle landed today. I'll be picking up next week sometime. :hyper:
  2. No problem, hope you're getting away to somewhere warm.
  3. You kinda predicted that. What's another week, lol. I'll check in the end of next week. Thanks
  4. I hear what you're saying. Auto/truck enthusiasts, myself included, always have to mod, making it your own. It is a great TRUCK, with plenty of power to get on the freeway, pass, 4x4 in all terrains, and pull some serious weight. You def have to remember it's 2 1/2 tons of steels and as you said it can't handle/stop like a lightning or car. I hope everyone is careful with their F150's and not just the EB, the 5.0 and 6.2 will get you into equal trouble with all that HP & torque on tap.
  5. It's great you can view yours. I've been looking at some VIN's of my local dealers of trucks they've got on order, and the ones that have just come in. The ones they have that are being built either this week or next have VIN's right around my production number. Strangely though, mine hasn't shown up yet so the 2/14 build week may or may not happen...
  6. It's def not "Lightning" Fast, but from the few track tests I can find it will take many sports sedans on the road and destroy just about any other pickup. Cars.com ran a 2WD EB SuperCab (unknown gear ratio) -- 14.67 @94.6 mph. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyrhspHaJa8 And Pickuptrucks.com tested a Screw 4x4 5.0 (3.73 ratio) and it did a 15.53 @ 92.85 mph. I test drove the 5.0 4x4 Screw with 3.73's first and it sounded mean and was fast. Then I drove a Screw 4x4 EB with only 3.55's and I was blown away. Other than hearing some boost it was quiet, but potent, and will no doubt take the 5.0. So i'd put all the EB's depending on configuration/gearing between mid 14's and low 15's. Just wait until the tuners take some of the torque management out and tune it to 400 hp+. Pickuptrucks.com 5.0 Review/Test Full article on 0 - 60 times
  7. Gotcha. I figured it would start sometime next week and I read on the forums somewhere it takes like 26 hrs to build. As you can tell I'm psyched about my truck :happy feet:
  8. Oh so slick. Usually my mind would think like that, lol. I will check with them on refinance qualifications. Thanks!
  9. Ok, I just wanted to be sure the VIN was correct and that their build date of 2-14 was really what it was. They never showed me on paper that info. Did you happen to look it up and see if this VIN came up and what info was available? Thanks again Cyberdman.
  10. Hi, my dealer gave me the VIN and said it's scheduled to be built the week of 2/14, but I can't pull up the VIN online so I'm a little concerned. Thanks a lot for the info you can get! VIN# 1FTFW1ET4BFA82008
  11. Considering it has the 6 speed AT, the difference between 3.55 and 3.73 won't be hardly noticable unless you were towing the max in extreme conditions. Going to 4.10 will make 1st & 2nd gears really crazy powerful for sure.
  12. Aren't the only differences between the reg tow pkg and max tow pkg that the max has the big tow mirrors, and it comes with the trailer brake controller? Mine is coming with reg two pkg and brake controller as an extra add on option. Both come with upgraded batt, tran cooler etc.. So having the reg tow pkg is nothing to scoff at. I agree though it's better to have it on a truck people sorta assume it should/will have it.
  13. My dealer had placed the order for my truck. Once I decided I wanted that truck he said he would update the priority status and it would get it here faster. I don't think it gets built any faster but once it's done it won't sit around too long since someone actually owns it now. Someone correct me if that is not how it works..
  14. My dealer said that once a VIN is assigned that they have already allocated all parts needed to build the vehicle and there won't be any normal delays.. Anyone know if this is true?
  15. There are EB incentives. I'm getting about 4500 worth of them plus paying -1000 off the invoice. I was told one of the incentives requires you to use Ford Motor Credit, I think it's 1000.00. They said with top a top credit score the rate is like 3.5-4.0%. I can get 2.99 at Penfed right now which would save about 1200 over the 5 yrs for every 1%. So if they can't get me at least 3.5 I'll loose the $1000 incentive and go with my own financing.
  16. Strangely, my dealer said my truck is sched to be built the week of 2/14 and yet when I try to view the sticker with the VIN online it says it doesn't exist. Should I be worried and asking the dealer for more info?
  17. I'm waiting for an EB, but I did love the growl of the 5.0. It was so tempting to just pick out one of those since there are so many already on the ground. Hopefully the EB will sound a little better with a mild exhaust. I doubt anyone has even changed the pipes yet here?
  18. I would have thought Ford with have required full Synthetic being a Turbo and how hot it can get in there under heavy work, but I suppose they think the blend is good enough. Esp since I think the oil changes are rec around 7500 miles? I'll def be switching to full synthetic around 1k after it breaks in a bit and changing it around 4k at the most.
  19. Congrats! That is a nice color and it's sharp for sure. I am waiting another month or so for mine. I test drove the 5.0 and was amazed with the truck from top to bottom. I really hope the EB lives up to everything you and the reviews are saying. Keep us posted on how you like it.
  20. Hey BlueOval members. I am waiting on a 2011 F150 Screw EB. It is an order my dealer had placed and it's exactly what I was looking for. I'm in Mass and can't wait for delivery. Time to browse the forum!
