My car is being shipped via truck, not rail...so it should be a straight shot. And I'm fairly certain ford has the final say which car's leave their property and in what order.

Yeah mine was built on the 28th and held up somewhere around the same time as yours. My dealer called me today and said he tried calling a couple people to try and get this thing out but got nowhere, to his credit, he actually seems to be trying. For that and for the overall positive experience I've had with them, I'll give it another week before I go over their head to corporate and start raising a stink. It just seems that any sort of hiccup in the process sends the car to the back of the line, which is frankly unacceptable. Logistically there are issues that need to be worked out. There are 22 Ford dealerships within 45 kilometers of downtown Toronto, I'm sure they could find room somewhere on a truck to put my car onto if they really tried.

There are 3 other dealers within about 10km of mine, with over 50 Foci on the lots...I just find it difficult to believe that there hasn't been one car carrier that this car couldn't find it's way onto.

Ugh, this is getting ridiculous. It's been sitting at the factory for three weeks.

yeah there was no extrapolation on my part...I was simply quoting what my dealer had told me. He said he spoke to two different people, so that information came from ford. In any event, the car is now released for shipment.

Are you able to find anything for me on this VIN# 1FAHP3N2XCL144061 ?? It was built on the 28th, the dealers update last week was that it was ready to ship via truck with am ETA of tomorrow. Today he called me and said a "stop shipment" order has been placed. Any further details you could provide??

yeah not too sure, dealer information is pretty thin, though they've been on the ball so far. He called mid last week, and it was 'awaiting shipment' by truck, so it would be somewhere in between then. o, and vin# is 1FAHP3N2XCL144061 if anybody on here can do anything else with that

So there's apparently a 'stop shipment' on all the cars. Mine was built on the 27th, passed QA, and was due to arrive tomorrow....but it's apparently still sitting in michigan.
