I dunno the mileage has been pretty good with my Focus... I drove to IL last month and averaged 37.1 on a still fresh motor. so I can see 40mpg in the future. So not too bad for a Stick. Besides in europe the TDCI 6 speed in the focus is rumored to get 65-75 mpg..... i know the Mondeo (Taurus in Europe) with the TDCI and 6 speed gets 65.6 mpg.... I dunno WTF the Ford Corp is doing here.. but we need some changes.

I have a 2012 Focus SE sedan with the Sport package. and a few Issues I have is the car is Race red with mostly blacked out trim... so why the hell doesnt it have the blacked out headlights and fog lights (in europe all cars except the base model have them) To me it would make sense to do it that way... and on the Titanium it has the chrome strip down the sill (window) so why not have the chrome headlights.... I though chrome used to be a sign of luxury.. WTF? Also the Titanium has the better handling package, but your screwed with an Automatic.... hmmmm Sport Package should have the excellent handling package ( it handles great as is, but would be cool to have the best upgrade). I also find it upsetting that to have the myford touch and auto temp control you have the buy the SEL or Titanium.. but then you have to sacrifice the Stick.... isnt it the same car for the most part.... why no have the stick available in all models. (like all the other countries do). Now as for performance... the stick has some balls to it. I lined up with a 2008 Scion TC with a stick and TRD exhaust. and was pretty much a dead even race all the way up to around 115 from a stop light, so I was inpressed for a Sedan having some get up and go. Ive seen Injen has a cold air intake and FM has the exhaust, and SCT is working on a tuner. so the performance upgrade are getting out there. I took that in and they gave me 750.... it said 500 on it too

Thanx man... was hoping for My Touch in the car.. but not an option in the SE... only SEL and Titanium... but I read there are a lot of probs with the MFT

Went in today to take delivery of the car.... had everything the Dealer said to bring along and now they want more f'n stuff...... gotta wait till Monday. I know when this is all done, whether they say approved (said guaranteed approval) or not I am contacting the Dealership owner, Ford Corporate and the BBB. This is Fn ridiculous. If I wasn't sooo set on having this car I would say F' it and tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine. :angry2: :angry2: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Got a call from the Dealer today... Said our car is in :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet: Just can't get it till the 20th We can't get it till the Mrs. gets her License lol

Damn this thread kinda died off ..... Great news guys... talked to Ford today and they said our Focus is awaiting Train Transport as of today... finish build date was the 8-8 lol.... so we are figuring by the 15-20 is the eta... :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet:

Know what ya mean man, Tom Wood, said they couldnt help me, went to Burd and they can help us but the experience has been very disappointing.

We just need to get plates like europe, they have plates to fit the cars... some US shaped, some long and rectangular (typical europe)

The dealer i am dealing with is kinda a let down. The salesman, wasnt as enthused when he found out I got a discount from my INS company. He has been kinda lazy on getting me information as to the status of my Focus. The first order that came in was wrong, they sent an Auto instead of a stick. So I had them reorder it. The didn't offer a loaner car, or even more money for my trade or money off. I think since they F'd up the order and i have been waiting since early May. I have a now 3 mo. old daughter. and our only vehicle now is a 1993 F-150 ext cab. and for those that have one of them knows they are not kid seat friendly. I have since borrowed my moms Civic. I had to call Ford to get my VIN.. they called the dealership and talked to the sale mgr to get it from him. I called my salesman that day and he said they didn't have it. I can't wait to get the car. Once its in and the deal is done. Ill type a letter to the Dealership owner.
