You need to go to your dealer to get the 2.11 update.

Right now, the Navigation system is "serialized" i.e. it is only available as a factory option and getting an SD card on a car that was originally built w/out navigation is not possible.

an update to MFT that will solve majority of problems will be released in July/August... followed by a major overhaul release in the Fall.

From Focus Fanatics: A fellow user has had both his exterior fit issues fixed and his MFT has been applied with the new update which will be released to the public in July/August.

There is zero problem with the MFT interface, I think it's incredibly simple to use. Other than perhaps Navigation and the Phone you can control the radio and the A/C with knobs and buttons and some features are disabled while driving also everything can be controlled by your voice there you can even get the options for help with your voice. Like I said before the only valid complaints about MFT is that there are glitches and failures abound with the system. My APIM module was replaced because MFT just died and I got the black screen of death. There are at least 3 others on Focus Fanatics who have had the same happen. Other are experiencing continous system mainteance screens and what not.

the transmission problems are not widespread... majority of the people complaining about them don't realize you need to break the transmission in and think they are driving "true automatics" which they are not. People were complaining about a slight roll back with the car, even though they had automatics which are dumb. The "shuddering complaints" are also from people who are not used to these type of transmission cars. You go to Europe, and rent an automatic car over there and 9 times out of 10 you will be getting a car with a similar transmission and the same type of drive.

Well, I had my new 2012 Focus Titanium for a whole 4 days before MFT completely crashed. It is now at the dealership having it's APIM replaced. The complaints about MFT being "to complicated" is idiotic. The only complaints should be about the crashes and the forced resets people have had to do by either pulling out a fuse or unplugging the battery or the cases like me(on focus fanatics there are a few) where the screen completely dies on you. With that being said, as long as the update corrects all these issues and the new APIM module keeps my system alive for more than 4 days this time, I will be satisified. I love this car.

ETA is June 20th but I have gotten word that it's only 2 hours out from my dealer in some distribution center in PA as of last Friday?.. but my dealer hasn't been able to confirm this perhaps you have some updated information? Not anyone can track railcars you need to have access to CSX to be able to do so and even then the rail car tracking #'s are private.

Our cars are on the same train! You'll get it before me though that's for sure, congrats!

I figured as much through a friend who works in transportation I am able to track the CSX rail car it should arrive in Pennsylvania by this Monday the latest... and then from there they were told that they need to schedule with my dealer in New Jersey which is probably why the ETA of June 20th. Hopefully they can get something scheduled quickly as depending where in PA the distribution center is located I am no more than 3-4 hours out tops. Would be nice to get it before the next weekend. VIN#1FAHP3N20CL171785 don't know if your system allows you to track the rail car or once its on the rail you won't get any updated info until it hits the dealers lot?
