any recommendations for convertible top care?

I received my vin from the dealer about ten days after the order.

I have a 2002 Silverado I use for the business and was getting ready to replace it with a 2011 until I checked out the Ford. The Chevys are dated and in desperate need of a refresh. When I make the move I'm going with the Ford despite the rebates Chevy is offering.

I had my sticker about ten days before the build date.

My salesman told me that adding the scoops requires that the car be sent to an upfitter after production. He had no idea how much time it would add to the process.

What is the purpose of the skip shift?

From what I read there were only a handful of complaints. More likely operator error than a problem with the transmission.
