  1. 77percent did not ,u must be part ass kisser that want to be pull up to IUAW read this u mite thing twice : -Dec., ’05.- Lost a 3% raise, lost some COLA -- lost $2,000/year (about $10,000 total). --Sept.,07. - Lost more COLA, (up to 50 cents/hour). Increased health care costs for prescriptions, office visits and other co-pays. --Feb., ‘09. - Lost 2 Performance Bonuses (about $5,000 total); 2 Christmas bonuses ($1,200 total); COLA eliminated; no overtime after 8 hours; Easter Monday holiday taken away; reduced SUB ; no pay-in-lieu. It is estimated we lost about $30,000 in money alone. But that’s only a small part of it. --Two-tier wages. New hires lose over $25,000 a year. Two-tier wages make it harder for first tier to get a raise and threatens to bring us all down to 2nd tier. --The VEBA. Health care for retirees is no longer guaranteed. How much money will we have to pay out of pocket when we retire? --Lost break time and alternative work schedules. It makes our working conditions much harder. It may take weeks, months or years off our lives. What price do you put on that? Also they promise it all back if we start making a profit ,well its been 6 quarters almost 10 billion dollars profits ,they gave their salary workers theirs back and our number 1 ceo made more then all three number 1 ceos at Honda,Toyota,Nissan combine. They awarded themselves almost 96millions Bill Ford and Alan Mually in salary n bonuses recently and even our IUAW voted themselves a raise . So I walk in to vote today and another fellow worker is asking the IUAW rep some questions. I over hear him asking a question about how did the union agree to a worker with 29 years gets 6k signing bonus and a worker with 3 days gets 5k signing bonus, his response was and I quote.... Thats what Ford wanted not the Union, What, his response was so what your telling me is ,what is in the highlight package is what Ford wants, I thought this is what our Union negotiated for us. He then started, thats the offer they wanted to make. WOW Then they got on the topic about profit sharing and he asked, Why would I want there to be a cap on profit sharing and he stated, I quote, Ford is only willing to share some profits not all. Then the last topic, get ready for the best one, He asked the IUAW rep, if the contract gets voted down, how does the union go back to the table to negiotiate. How does the union know what items the membership is specifically not happy with? He then stated, We meaning the IUAW no what the membership wants, they want COLA AND RAISES and all the things they previously gave up, but Ford was not willing to give anything back in this offer. After overhearing this conversation it sure sounds like Ford said to our union, put this offer on the table and see if they take it. The gentleman from the IUAW was doing his best to answer all the questions, but he did not even sound like he believed this is a good contract. He stated several times this is FORD'S offer. What a joke, Sure made my decision easy to vote no. New retirees will take another hit because for the first contract ever, there is no increase in the 30-and-out pension. Current retirees’ Christmas bonus is taken away from them. There are promises of new jobs. But remember the 2007 contract where Ford promised to save 10,000 jobs – instead we lost 17,300 jobs. If you look closely at the promises of jobs, it is mostly work that Ford was going to do anyway. Also he told us he makes 162,000 a year ,plus traveling expenses
  2. Here's why =Let me tell you people that many of the company people that come in here to stray the vote are paid people by the company. The IUAW people that come in here to try and do the same thing are paid retards sitting behind a desk at the solidarity house doing it as well. A no vote is not going to hurt you and will more then anything get you more money for your hard work! Don't believe the BS that is going around in this or other forums about why we shouldn't vote no. It's all right wing propaganda, and it's just not true. See the republicans already think we get paid too much, they want to tear up the unions and wants us to work for 10 bucks an hour. This will never happen. If this IUAW can't do anything for us, then I'll be placing a call to Hoffa because he gets the job done. Voting NO on this deal tells our UAW leaders to go back to the table and get more money or things added to the language that is it. It doesn't mean were going on strike. None of the UNION leaders should even be talking about what they plan to do if there is a NO vote. Leaders threatening the membership of a strike or lock out need to be elected out of office. Read the contract before you vote. Then read the comments written by "NO" voters, talk to retirees and vote accordingly. The NO voters are not trying to steer anyone to make a wrong choice, we are only bringing you the "cons" of the new agreement vs. the old. Ask yourself this question, do you want whats happening to us happen to you next time around? Protect Your Future - The Ballot Box is your Mouthpiece.. The outcome of this contract isn't going to effect wall street in the short term. Wall street is currently a big business bubble that's about to burst. Wall street is the cause of the banks holding so much cash. When people sell or drop out of investing because of the market and economy as a whole, wall street suffers the price as a whole. Only the companies with the most cash on hand will survive and Ford is one of them. They played it smart, didn't take handouts, now they need to come up with some sort of deal everyone can be happy with. The membership currently isn't happy after it was told we would be getting back our concessions once it got profitable again. They are reneging on it's promises to the workers that buy Ford products, not a good way to start 2012. Your are exactly right. People need to wake up. Wall Street says this is a good deal, that ought to tell our membership that this deal sucks for us and is only good for Ford. You are so right Wall Street is about to go bust. The people of this country has done woke up and seen the truth, they are fighting back, thats why Occupy Wall Street has become a success and it will change things. The media tried blocking news coverage on it,yahoo blocked emails on it,media tried to denounce it and say it was just a hanful of young, punk kids. Well it has grown to thousands around Wall Street itself and now people in 15 other cities and states have joined in,the whole world is listening and watching and supporting the cause, cause Wall Street effects the whole world. Our union leaders in no way should be strong arming us and using scare tactics for us to vote a certain way. They should be elected out of office and Im tired of not being able to vote on our IUAW reps and our President, that is such bullshit. A union is suppose to be a democracy and our Iuaw runs it like communist. Its not who is next in line for the throne,it should be who we vote in. We Americans vote for our President,Congressman,Senators,Mayors,etc... Why does our IUAW think they are so special and keep us out of the process? They decide on their own who gets brought up to an IUAW position. They vote their own raise in (just voted themselves a raise, while denying us one),hire who they want to be their secretaries (like their wives),they all get 2 pensions and make no less than 150,000 a year. They are not for us,we are getting screwed and they have done nothing but use scare tactics on their membership. That is wrong..... We do have the right to denounce our union and vote in another union and all monies, assets transfer over. It is not their money it is ours, the memberships. Hoffa and Teamsters got their membership raises back in 2008 and 2009 when the economy was way worse and the auto companies was taking a bailout. Wake up people and fight.... If this is voted in,we will see our union crash. We will no longer be union. Uaw is almost broke and about to go belly up now. By next contract, their will be no UAW for us to try and get anything back if we dont stand and fight now... Have any of you noticed that after a new contract passes or like back when they opened up the contract to ask for concessions and your local and IUAW would more less tell you to vote yes and then they would tell you,if you dont your plant will close, then after it passes, usually your bargaining chairman all the sudden got a spot up in International? 26 million to Mulally just in wages this year,56 million in stocks,24 million to Ford Jr,50+ million in stocks, not including Mark Fields that threatened to leave and go to Toyota, all of salary got raises, bonuses, their 401k matched, IUAW voted themselves a raise but we get nothing,King said no more concessions, our retirees get no xmas bonuses,no raise in pensions. They are asking us to give 10% to Veba, which will average out about 60 million a year. They got around 16 billion from Ford,11 billion from Gm plus a load of shares for the differance, which they own like 36% of GM because of it,they own like 46% of Chrysler because of it. They wasnt underfunded they got the differance in the shares for them to sell, its a conflict of interest for a union to own that much of a company when they are a union. Now they are playing corporate against their own people and still collecting money from us while more less owning the company. They are just like a CEO now. We are getting screwed people. Wake up,stand up and fight..... Very very very well PUT MY Brother!!! This guy has it nailed.. I hope the membership really thinks long and hard when they write out that ballot and stuff it in the box, because if you vote yes on this deal, you can't change your vote.. Also if this contract passes it will be 51 percent because I have a feeling the fix is in. Now were seeing some of the plants pass it by a vagina hair.. lol this can't be happening. Someone must be jerking these numbers around. I hope our membership is also counting these ballots. Remember if you vote yes, you have to live with yourself the next 4 years, then maybe after a 4 year prison sentence you'll finally wake up!. VOTE NO - OR LOSE MORE NEXT TIME AROUND IF IT TURNS OUT TO BE A YES VOTE I WANT A LAWYER TO FILE AN APPEAL FOR A RECOUNT

  4. The tentative Ford contract means this: Ford will give us a signing bonus of $6,000 (before taxes), plus four $1,500 bonuses (before taxes) and promises of profit-sharing. But we lose all the concessions we gave up. Everything that we want back, Ford said NO! NO! NO! NO raises, NO COLA, NO performance bonuses, NO Christmas bonuses, NO Easter Monday holiday, NO return of lost break time. NO overtime after 8 hours. (Letter on back-up time doesn’t change this.) First tier autoworkers lost up to $30,000 in concessions over the last few years. Now Ford wants to continue these concessions for another 4 years. At what cost to us? Lose another $30,000? All for $12,000 in bonuses? No raises for 4 more years, after we have already waited 6 years? They give us 2011 profit-sharing this November – by taking it away from next March’s money – hoping we will jump at the money now and forget about what happens later. The biggest concession is that 2-tier will continue. This contract does not bring up the 2nd-tier workers up to first tier. This contract keeps them permanent 2nd-tier, with no path to move up to first tier wages and benefits. The pay increase, spread over 4 years, barely makes up for what 2nd-tier workers lost in the 2009 concessions. The supposed 20% limit on 2nd-tier workers is filled with loopholes. The percentage of 2nd-tier workers will increase, meaning the threat of everyone being eventually reduced to 2nd-tier will increase. The profit-sharing formula is supposed to be improved, by including North American operations instead of just the U.S. But what is to keep Ford from shifting profits around to hide them? Do you trust Ford? There is also a cap on profit-sharing when there didn't used to be one. And there is no guarantee of getting profit-sharing every year. This contract makes us pay for what Ford did not put into the VEBA. The VEBA is underfunded because Ford only put in 57% of what was needed for retiree health care. Retirees are paying more out of pocket. Instead of making Ford pay for their obligations, this contract would take 10% of any profit-sharing we might get to put into the VEBA. When the past concessions were taken away from us, they wanted us to believe that when the companies were reporting a profit again, we would get back what we gave up. It was all a lie. They want us to accept that these concessions will be permanent. But we don’t have to stand by and watch our families’ standard of living be permanently reduced, while our bosses are the only ones who prosper from our hard work. The Ford contract does have more upfront money than the GM contract. But let’s remember why it is more – because we voted “No” in 2009. It ‘s a good lesson to remember this time. I’m voting “NO” and I ask you to vote “NO”!
  5. As for the assembly plants getting new work in the 2007 contract, i.e. new body shops, Ohio Assembly did not get theirs. The only promised plant that didn't get what was in the contract. How many of you cried to IUAW for us? So I too know how some of you feel about the IUAW. Will we get the new promised truck? I'll believe it when we start running them. Don't forget that Ford built a state of the art paint shop at Lorain Assembly. Only to run very few vans through it and disassemble it and move it to Michigan. A contract is only as good as the paper it's printed on or as the whole UAW stands behind it.

  11. No raise in 4 years on a fixed income ,I don't think the price of food will remain the same or gas ,rent,etc..........
  12. we need everbody to vote ,because that extra ballot will become a yes vote ,happen before in chicago we had the Labor board ,going over the voting results and conparing them with who voted and they found errors so we had to vote all over again.
  13. They can even throw us a bone and take the retirees 700 dollars xmas bonus away and no raises for first time in history and all those retirees , haded taken the buyout they our all working somewhere else.If it passes I am going to stay here 550 years ,I afford to retire unless I work IUAW .
  14. O.K. So now we are being told labor costs are $58 an hour, up from $43 an hour. In other words, in 4 short years, Fords costs for our labor has risen 35%. Yet, we haven't had a raise since 2004, seven years ago. And our inflation costs have risen 24% since the start of 2004. Seems to me someone is getting shafted here. And there are a lot of fairy tales being told.
  15. I am none of the above. Just a hard working , former UAW plant rep that has seen enough in over 20 years to put two and two together and make four. I didn't run for a second term after all the crap I saw in four short years. The only fact that I posted was the amount of your bonus the IUAW will get, and the fact that if it is settled as a grievance, they do not get that money. Take it for what its worth. I get damned tired of US taking cuts and the IUAW giving themselves raises, of US being the scapegoats for everything form profits being down, to costs being up. Of IUAW appointees being some of the worst reps in the plants, and the membership of those plants having no say in the process. It’s easy to not do your job on the plant floor, while kissing ass at the IUAW to get a nice cushy appointment. Of IUAW trying to push concessions down our throats while we all knew Ford was making a profit (which was confirmed just a few short days later) IUAW knew it too...and still they tried to screw the membership. I am sorry that I don't feel as you do, I simply have seen enough to know better than to put any faith in these so called leaders. And now that the IUAW is a part owner...I fear them even more. You can have, and are fully entitled to your own opinion. I just don't have to follow along like a sheep and agree with it. UAW needs to get back to the basics from which it was founded, or they are going to cease to exist at some point in the not so distant future. Already here in Michigan, the Republican legislators are planning to introduce a right to work bill for the entire state. How do you think that will affect us?So I post some accurate Information, and a little speculation…so what, I know the facts are there, you can read them. Take it anyway you want, I really don’t give a damn. But I WILL continue to post what I feel is relevant to ALL ford UAW members. And just for the record, I have NEVER been in trouble at Ford. The UAW has never had to bail me out of anything, and never will. I show up on time each and every day, and do my job to the best of my ability, I don't kiss ass, and don't ask for anything other than my local contract be followed. If you have a problem with someone doing that, theyn maybe YOU are the one that has the real problem.
  16. --Dec., ’05.- Lost a 3% raise, lost some COLA -- lost $2,000/year (about $10,000 total). --Sept.,07. - Lost more COLA, (up to 50 cents/hour).
  17. We need the labor board to watch those ballot boxex ,they stuff the boxes before with ballots from people didn't vote at all and pull out 51 to 49 percent win ,those our their magic numbers every time we lose..
  18. any plants that try to stay open and guys you know that supervisor that picks on you ,well its your cahnce to get even b y opeventing from entering the plant if cops our there , plan b in effect cause cops can be everywher ,maybe Jesse Jackson ,will be out there with us or even Obama ,Rich against middleclass workers ,hes got a name for it class warfare!!!
  19. we got alot of exgang banger who work on the line now and they still know active ones ,we older senor guys will be willing to pay them to help us picket. and golf clubs in our trunk ,mite even have our kids baseball bats in trunk,we are going to collect money from other unions and I know teamster truck drivers won't cross the picketline ,if we ask them too!!!!!!!!!
  20. all local watch ,their voting box or call the board of labor in your state ,if they are cheating they can get jail time ,they will sent somebody over to monitor the voting process ,just like they did in Chicago, thats why we voted it down by so much, otherwise ,we going to lose 51percent to 49% again ,skilled trades are at that number right now.I will post labor board numbers numbers for your state ,in the meantime collect money and have no voter watch the box around the clock ,us at other local will be willing to donate money ,if the need arise.
  21. where does the supervisor park their cars <i know about the bus routes because they can get to work ,because they don.t own a car ,so Ford picks them up and feeds them and drops them off after 16 hour days ,weres our bus and food waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!Cost saving from 2 dollars an hour ,I heard Enginers make a little over 3 from them theirselves when they visit our plant a few years go ,they get paid in pesa = 2.19 american money.
  22. Local 892, which represents workers at an interior-parts plant in Saline, Mich., turned down the contract, according to an email sent to workers at the plant. This defeat comes after locals in Chicago and Wayne, Mich., rejected the contract earlier this week. The email didn't give the totals, but said 59% of production workers and 51% of skilled tradesmen voted against it.
  23.
