  1. We lose if the no voters win. Strike or lockout here we come with $200 a week in income. Say goodbye to your house, car and eating for awhile.
  2. No doubt. High unemployment rates, cuts in social services, we are in trouble economically. People are putting our jobs and lives at risk with these no votes.
  3. There is a lot of stupidity out there. If we don't have product, we are screwed.
  4. For those who have not voted yet—here are the unemployment rates in your states: Michigan—11.2% Ohio—9.1% Kentucky—9.5% Missouri—8.8% If we go to strike or lockout like the no voters are pushing, you will be making $200 a week. That’s it. You will have to do three shifts of strike duty for the $200. You just don’t get a check. You have to walk the picket line. With the high rates of unemployment in each state, don’t think you will be able to go out and get a job to supplement the $200 per week. Let’s face it, if you don’t have a second job by now, you are sunk. You will lose your home, car and probably your wife. Voting no will bring us all into a hardship that we may never recover or get our jobs back at the rate of pay and benefits we currently have.
  5. How many applied for the Entry Level jobs at LAP? 7000? There will be people lined up no doubt if we go on strike or get locked out.
  6. People seem to think Ford will pay them when they are on strike or locked out at the same wage rate. They probably think they will get benefits and OT--they won't. $200 a week baby!!! See you at the FOOD BANK.
  7. The no voters are pushing us to strike or lockout. Hope they are happy when those who vote YES see them on the picket line.
  8. That's kind of weird since Alan Mulally has been President of Ford since September 5, 2006. There have been numerous strikes, maybe you should find one in which Mulally was CEO of Boeing such as this one-- http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/05_39/b3952115.htm The workers got a lot less because of the no vote and strike.
  9. Between Production and Skilled we will lose on average $1000 each week in pay while on strike. Add onto this OT at some plants and we will be losing a lot more. There is no way, we will regain our lost wages. We may end up losing our houses, won't be able to pay our bills and may have our cars repoed. Ah, the no voters, driving us into bankruptcy and destroying our futures.
