I've seen the renderings TopSpeed did of the 2013 Mach 1 and Bullitt, but is there any chance either of these classics could be offered again as part of the current retro styled Mustang theme? Not enough profit margin left in the US market I would assume. One of the guys at the dealership mentioned earlier this week how Ford is investing in the FXXX series of trucks rather than dumping more $$ into the Ranger. It doesn't really seem to fit in with the "tough" truck image going on right now either.

I think he speaks for alot of our frustrations with the debt situation right now. My question is how long before rants become raids on the Capitol...?

I'm not ready to hop off of the retro design bandwagon. So 2015 is when the major "redesign" is coming out...or sooner?

I remember an interesting quote by an old Soviet diplomat to the US named Arkady Shevchenko that relates to this topic. It went along the lines of ... the reason the Soviet Union did not invade the US during the Cold War was not becuause of our nuclear ICBMs, but rather their fear of our citizen's ownership of over 100 million private firearms.

I remember when the "spy shots" of what seemed to be a 2013 Mustang came out a couple months ago (article linked below). Personally, I pray the "redesigned" Mustang has nothing to do with the EVOS concept. Ford's decision to take a few cues from the classic styling is what really revived the public's interest in the car. The EVOS concept is just way too radical for me. But of course everyone has different tastes, so we will indeed just have to wait and see what happens!

Hello all. Just thought I'd take a second to introduce myself to the forum. I've been a Ford guy from the day I bought my first car at the ripe age of 16, a 1996 Mustang Cobra SVT. I'll be taking that car to the grave with me. The latest edition to the garage will be a 2012 GT 5.0 in Kona Blue once it arrives in a few weeks. Apart from being into cars, I serve as a pilot in the USAF. If I'm not flying, I'm either working on a car somewhere or at the track having fun. I'm sure once the 2012 comes in, I'll be posting here alot trying to figure out what to mod next!
