Hello everyone I attended the contract highlight meeting at my local (600) prior to us voting. Bernie Ricky was asked why the pull ahead that a majority did not see the need for. His response was that in the 2011 contract we had a $10,000 signing bonus and the negotiating team felt we would not settle for less this time around seeing how they pulled ahead $3,750 last time to get us to $10,000. Sounded like a lame answer to me....with the profits Ford is making we should have gotten $10,000 with no pull ahead.....I was a NO vote as well seeing as I am originally from Rawsonville and think that what has happened to them and Sterling as well as Woodhaven was bullshit.

Next Year Group rates for health care policies go away under the ACA.....That means policy costs are going to almost double for employers providing health care ins. to their employees. The govt. set it up this way to get the tax revenue to fund free insurance for low income. Do a little research.....Ford paid 8000 for my insurance last year and will increase to close to 15,000 after group rates are no longer available to employers so we are all going to get Boned hard soon. So much for Democrats looking out for the working class.......the govt. needs the revenue to give away more free stuff on our backs
