Do you have a 1.6l or 2.0l? The 2.0l engine does not have the active grille shutters.

What's this remote you speak of? Oh, that thing I keep in my pocket and never touch again until I hang it up at home. I'm sure that never having the feature you would not miss it but I enjoy not needing a key or remote in my hand to do anything on my vehicle. Although I will be pushing buttons pretty soon as I remote start it from the warmth of my house.

SEL 2.0 4WD ordered on 8/6, dealer called with VIN 8/20, window sticker available 8/21, build date 8/29, dealer received it on 9/4, and picking it up tomorrow 9/6.

It took 2 weeks to get my VIN and the window sticker was available to view the next day.

Could you explain further about the special treatment needed for the 18's as I was not aware of this issue?

In comparing the SEL to the Titanium for me I found the SEL to be a better deal. The Titanium was basically $440 more and all I gained were HID headlights and 19" tires that are $50 more a piece when I need to replace them. Oh and some chrome accents. Although I would have liked HID headlights for me it wasn't worth spending more money up front and down the road as I plan to keep this vehicle awhile.
