Does anyone have pics of the Husky liners installed? I've gone with WeatherTechs in the pasts. This time I got the Ford all weather mats and although I like them I'm concerned about how little they actually cover on the driver's side.

I'm still getting used to the technology included in the driver assist package but I'm sure in a couple of months I'll be wondering how I ever lived without BLIS, Lane departure warning and assist, auto high beams and the rain sensing wipers. In addition my son loves the fact he can plug his iPhone or Sony PSP in the back into the 110V outlet.

I'm glad Ford stepped up for you. This should have been done for you in November like it was for me. I know Ford has promised to get all of the ON HOLD cars shipped out but obviously that has not been completed. My original order still shows up in Hermosillo. Hopefully once you get your car you will think that the wait was worth it.

That's probably 10 miles from me. I could always try and hijack it for you.

Jarhead, how difficult was it to remove the original antenna housing? Is it held on with two sided tape?

If I had to base my car purchase on what I've read on various car forums I would never buy a car. Every forum I've read or been part of has a litany of complaints from various folks about problems from the very minor to the major. There is no perfect car or car company. Cars are incredibly complex pieces of machinery and there are always going to be glitches. I agree that Ford has had several terrible launches in a row and I can certainly understand the frustration from the folks who have been waiting for months to receive their new car. There are however, many choices out there and if Ford really makes you that unhappy then it may be time to cancel and move on to another choice. I have to agree with akirby that you will probably never be happy with your Fusion because it has been tainted by the frustration of the wait. My initial order was placed on 8/30 and I did not get my car until 12/21. The car I finally did get was the second order placed by my dealership. I think my dealership took care of me to the best extent possible and I still remember the salesman and dealership GM apologizing to me for the long wait when I finally took delivery. Dealerships don't make money unless they sell you a car and they are probably as frustrated with the Fusion launch as we all have been. To me at least the wait was long but worth it. I'm very happy with my car.

Double wow. After looking at that mess I had to run into the garage and take a look at my headliner. Mine looks perfect. That definitely needs to be replaced.

Did you replace the antenna housing on the rear roof? Mine looks totally different.

You folks may try asking your dealers about a $750 Fusion Launch Direct Offer. Supposedly this targeted incentive started on 12/27 and involves people who inquired about the 2013 Fusion online.

I looked at my DORA and it shows a priority 10. So that's nothing special unless mine was bumped up at a later date.

Camride, it's always easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission. I love the 19" H-spoke wheels by the way! Just ask the wife if she really wants you to be happy. You can always go and flip your old tires and wheels on eBay to defray some of the cost.
