  1. Congrats Elle! It looks great and very luxurious. That is what the Titanium Hybrid should have been. In some small way I wish I would have waited for my titanium hybrid order more because of the push button start and intelligent access, but I saved over $3000 (by the time i changed out the ugly titanium rims lol) and the appearance package is a nice upgrade for me. My partners kids and even his 83 year old grandmother like the red stitched seats, and everyone loves the Ruby red. Got my first complement on the car from a couple going out to breakfast Sunday morning
  2. Welcome! To give you a reference point, I ordered my Hybrid in late October (just after the whole recall and TBD situation luckily) and picked it up on 12/22. It was delivered on 12/20. So for me it was about 7 weeks. My dealer does pretty good business....probably higher than normal volumes but not the top i am guessing.
  3. Thanks for the suggestion. I will give them a call and see what they say. Cant hurt right?
  4. Of course i get the $750 coupon in the mail today, 3 weeks after i purchased the car...ughhh. I requested a brochure close to 2 months ago probably too
  5. I have heard some misinformation from dealers/salesman before, but that one certainly doesn't know their product. No Fusions come with runflats, gas or hybrid.
  6. My 3rd fillup two days ago was 11.1x gallons to the first shut off, I then pumped to the second shut off which put in about 0.5 gallon more. My trip computer said I used 11.49 gallons and the yellow light was on for about 40 miles before this.
  7. For anyone considering the Husky liners, here is a site that is selling the front and rear set for $99.95 with free shipping. Seriously considering them myself. http://www.a2ztruckstuff.com/cart/product.php?year=2013&make=54&model=2816&ptc=FMLHWB&gc=&pfc=FML&PHPSESSID=vfkr7k818dpl7csqfs2eg03lh3&PHPSESSID=vfkr7k818dpl7csqfs2eg03lh3
  8. I wasn't asked for my PIN until they were doing the paperwork for the car.
  9. Yep, my salesman made a copy of my license when the order was submitted. Mine had my first initial and last name on the window sticker right underneath the options list, and the bottom says Special Order.
  10. Thanks for the information. The ATRIX 2 is just a slightly updated version of the ATRIX 4G. So it looks like i can get the holder if i take my case off...hmmmm not sure I want to do that. I will email if I decide to the mount.
  11. Do you think this will work with a Motorola Atrix 2 with an otterbox case (the thinner case)? It is not listed as a phone in the description but it looks like a similar size/shape as an iPhone 5.
  12. The dune interior has black carpeting. You should order the black mats. Having tan mats would be an interesting contrast though lol
  13. Where do you mount yours? Seems like the only place in the Fusion that it would work would be on top of the dash, and I am not sure I like that placement and look versus the proclip. Of course the price difference is pretty significant.
  14. I am having the opposite issue with my Motorola Android phone. I went to use one of the USB ports for the first time today with my phone to stream Pandora, to try out the USB, and the first message I got was that the phone was not supported, and I should disconnect the device, then the next time, it said the device was not found. Is there an issue with my MFT? I have the latest 3.5.1 (I think that's the correct number) update.
  15. That pretty much mirrors what my experience was on my second fillup. I didn't try to add more fuel past the first shut off of the pump.
  16. My 2005 Acura TL didn't have a low windshield fluid warning either, so I guess I am not missing anything lol.
  17. Thanks everyone for the responses. I will never be as serious about tracking my mileage as Gary, but the ideas are very helpful. I think I was a bit unclear with my question. I know that I can track mpg by hand or using apps (like fuelly which i am doing, shown in my signature), but I was wondering how accurate I can be based on the first 2 fillups where the "full" fill amount on the 1st fillup was. 8 gallons below what the trip computer said for usage, while the second fillup was 1.2 gallons above what the trip computer said. I think the second one was balancing out the not quite full fillup of the first, and the trip computer is fairly accurate. I will probably update my fuelly to show this, and will track the next few tanks to see if the readings from the trip computer and gas station tank for "full" amounts match up better.
  18. To get back on topic, I filled up my tank for the second time last night at a different gas station, and was able to put in 11.9XX gallons, when the DTE said 0 for about 15 miles, and the gauge was on E and colored red. The trip computer said I used 10.82 gallons, but I think that is accurate also, since after my first fillup, the tank shut off at 9.999 gallons and the trip computer said I used 10.7 gallons, but fairly quickly moved below F this next day. I am thinking the trip computer is actually pretty accurate, and the second fillup made up for the first one which was short for whatever reason (probably an issue with that particular pump). Based on my experience so far, it seems like the Hybrid gas tank doesn't have an issue with being able to be filled completely, and the reserve once the DTE gets to 0 is around 2 gallons. I will monitor this in the next couple tanks, and hopefully the trip computer usage and the gas pump fill amounts become more in sync with each other.
  19. This isn't a question necessarily about how to determine MPG, but more what is accurate based on the issues that seem to be floating around regarding the gas tanks and if it is able to be filled fully. The reason I made this thread was to ask some advice on the best way to calculate my mileage because of inconsistencies in my first 2 fillups. My first fillup, the trip computer said I used about 10.7 gallons for 368 miles (34.2 mpg), but when I filled up, the pump shut off at 9.999 gallons (36.8 mpg). Now the gauge read just above full for a mile or 2, but went to exactly full right after, and dropped below that after a bit of driving the next day. My thought is, for some reason it didn't fill the entire tank, so my mpg was probably closer to the 34.2 than the 36.8 since I would have used more gas if the dealer's fill at delivery was closer to full than mine. I just filled up for the second time, and this is where it gets confusing. I let it go down to 0 miles to empty, the gauge was Red showing at E for about 15 miles, and when I got to the gas station (a different one), the trip computer said I used 10.82 gallons for 410.7 miles (37.9 mpg). However, I was able to put 11.93 gallons in the tank this time (more than the trip computer, not less like the 1st fillup) for a MPG of 34.42. So, now I am puzzled if the trip computer is accurate at all, or even if I can accurately calculate my own MPG by hand too given the fillup issues. I am hoping the 1st time was just an issue with that particular pump, and I will be able to calculate the MPG by hand for now on. I know trip computers tend to be optimistic, but 37.9 and 34.4 is a big variance. Any similar experiences with fillups, or ideas on what I should be doing? Sorry, this was a bit drawn out. Thanks for any help!
  20. Just before I got to work this morning the low fuel message popped up. I immediately checked the trip computer, and it said I used 10.2X gallons, so it seems like the reserve is around 3-3.5 gallons. The distance to empty (first time I checked it since I got the car almost 2 weeks ago) was around 20 miles just before the low fuel message popped up. Seems like it is being very cautious with the DTE, but I guess that is better than being stranded somewhere. I will be filling up on my way home, and I will see how much gas I can put in the tank once the pump shuts off. I will not attempt to slow put more fuel in, since I never liked topping off before.
  21. I am hoping they will make one for the Hybrid. In my previous car, I had oil and interior dash protectant spill on the carpet and I could never get it all out before i traded it in.
  22. 1. I noticed issues with my headliner last week (never thought to check it at delivery). It has many dimples and is wavy above especially above the seatbelt area on both sides. I may mention this to the dealer when I bring it in on Thursday to have them look at a paint defect just below my left tailight. 2. I think there may be issues with the Hybrid gas tanks too. My first fillup, the trip computer said I used about 10.7 gallons, and I was able to put in 9.999 gallons (the gauge on the IP read just above full, then dropped to exactly full after a mile or 2). Currently on my second tank, It read a half tank but the trip computer said I used only 4.5 gallons (out of 13.5 gallon capacity for the Hybrid). Now i am around 7 I think, and it is readinga little above a 1/4 tank. Should be interesting to see the discrepancy between the the amount used and what I can put it during my next fill up this week probably. 3. I am very happy with the handling and steering feel. If it feels unstable there may be an issue. 4. I got 34.2 mpg on my first tank (my fuelly may need to be adjusted based on the fuel tank/fillup issues - i.e. may have used the amount of fuel the trip computer said, not what the gas pump said was full). So far on my 2nd tank I am getting 37.2 mpg. Similar weather conditions between the 2. I am not thrilled with the mpg, but I knew the cold was going to affect things more, so I will withhold disappointment for a little while.
  23. Very nice. Congrats! What a great way to start off the new year.
  24. I am starting to wonder if there is an issue with my Hybrid gas tank. On my first tank, the trip computer showed around 10.7 gallons used (I didn't record the exact figure before resetting), but the gas pump put it 9.999 gallons. The gauge read just above full then dropped almost immediately to full once I left the gas station. Now, on my second tank, the trip computer says I have used just over 4 gallons, yet the gauge is showing exactly 1/2 full. You would think it would be a between 1/2 and 3/4 (13.5 gallon tank on hybrids), closer to 3/4. I will track it for the next tank or 2, and see if this trend continues. I may have to take it in to be looked at.
