  1. Mine isn't that quiet, but that may have been because I had the stereo up pretty loud this morning. :D
  2. As mentioned the only way that is going to happen is if they have a massive lawsuit like Hyundai and are determined to have not tested correctly. I doubt that's going to be the case. MPG will always differ from driver to driver, just because you're not getting 47mpg doesn't mean it's impossible, you might just not drive it in the most efficient manner.
  3. Weird, mine was built 11/17 and has 3.2.2. The dealer did not install the update, so I'll have to take it in next week and have them do it. I'm also a bit disappointed that they drive the car from Wilmington, so it had 140 miles on it last night. Not a huge deal, but I was excited to get a car with <10 miles on it.
  4. How in the world did you know I took those pictures bare foot?
  5. Got mine home. I'll get better pictures later, but here are a few within it's first few minutes home. One thing I noticed is that I have DRLs. At least when I did a remote start it looked like DRLs (you can see in the pictures). I'll take a closer look at that tomorrow, as well as look for grill shutters. edit: Just checked, I have active grill shutters. Who knows what the criteria is for them, it seems to be pretty random at this point.
  6. Same here, I'm picking mine up at 4pm EST. I will take what pics I can tonight, but it gets dark pretty quick now so it may be dark by the time I leave the dealership.
  7. You can cache playlists on your phone. Hook it up to wifi, download playlists and you should be all set. It won't work for radio obviously, but for normal music that you have cached you won't be streaming data.
  8. Spotify. You can listen to full albums all you want or use the radio app, similar to Pandora but probably better (it used to be crap but they updated it recently and it's now awesome). The only thing you get with Sirius/XM is talk shows and sports stuff. I don't listen to any of that, just music, so Spotify is perfect. The phone app works great and I can stream at a nice high bitrate.
  9. I thought someone mentioned it was separate...
  10. IMO the Fusion would look perfect about 1"-1.5" lower, as I hate wheel gap. It doesn't need to be tucked to look good to me, it just shouldn't have more than a finger's gap between the tire and fender. I will consider lowering springs at some point (no need to get coilovers for this car for me, I wouldn't be adjusting the height like I have on my Audi) but I'd probably want to get them from Ford (if they offer them) so it doesn't impact my warranty.
  11. I'm also in the "would never own white but the White platinum tri-coat is really nice" crowd. The Titanium that I test drove was White Platinum with the 19" H-spokes and it looked pretty darn nice. I wouldn't buy it, as I don't like white cars, but the paint is impressive. I'm happy with my choice of Ruby Red, i felt like this car needed a bold color. I wanted to want the Deep Impact Blue, but it's just not the right shade of blue for me.
  12. This is one reason why I'd never pay for Sirius/XM. I'm not an audiophile, but I do enjoy quality music. Even bluetooth streaming bothers me because of the quality difference between that and wired.
  13. It wouldn't have been as funny if it were anyone else.
  14. Off topic, but I had to snap a screenshot of this: :poke: :P
  15. I apologize, I forgot you ordered a 1.6L. And mine fortunately doesn't need new headlights, it was built after that issue was resolved. I've just got the MFT update to be done.
  16. If you haven't done bags before I would definitely hold off and see how you like the car first. In the order complexity for shock/spring mods you have: lowering springs (static height), coilovers (manually adjustable) and bags (can be adjusted on the fly). Bags are a lot of work and I'd only recommend doing them after serious thought. And definitely ride in a car that has them to make sure you're not going to hate the way it rides.
  17. Mine was built 11/17 and was at the dealership less than 2 weeks later. It went to the wrong dealership, but that's beside the point. :P edit: Just talked to my sales guy, I'll be picking my car up Thursday night.
  18. Wow, lots of hate on bags in here. I think it's a great idea as long as it's done well with a good system. I've got coilovers on my Audi and it is still one of my favorite mods. I don't end up adjusting them too often, but I like that I can. Air is certainly much easier, but it's also more expensive. As far as real info, I'm pretty sure you won't find it here. I'm not sure if there are any more "mod friendly" Fusion forums, but I would try looking for something like that first. The general concepts for air are pretty straight forward, most will transition just fine across platforms. So any good write up on installing bags should be pretty similar. Depending on your budget though it might be worth paying a good shop to do it.
  19. I would consider them if I had a SE, but since the Titanium already has the aluminum plates I'm fine with that. For $300 it seems like a nice "oh cool" addition to the car.
  20. Does the car not come with an alarm? I would think so. And if it does, what is the difference here? My Audi has some kind of interior protection part of the alarm (with a manual override button next to the drivers seat). Let me tell you, never lock the car with the sunroof open, a spec of dust would set that interior alarm off.
  21. Looks similar to the halogen projectors that came in my Audi. They worked perfectly with a DDM Tuning 55W kit. I'll likely do the same with the Fusion, I'll just want to see someone else do it first. :P
  22. Just talked to him, he indeed did not know it was in Wilmington. He's going to find out when it's being delivered here hopefully today (he's actually off today). I'm a bit annoyed that I knew more about the location of the car than him, but whatever. At this point I just hope they can get it here quickly so I can take it home.
  23. Awesome OP, thanks for the details. I'm glad to see the Fusion come out so well when comparing to cars $10k+ its senior.
  24. I would bring the issue up to the dealership at this point. If you're driving it easy you should be getting better than that even if you're in stop in go traffic all the time.
  25. I hope you went back to demand a refund before ripping it off.
