Just curious. I want to add one but want to know how hard it will be being that there is no speakers in the package tray and the furthest rear speakers are in the rear doors. I know running the power wires will be simple since the 12 volt battery is in the trunk. I'm just not completely happy with the stereo. I think a little more bass would help.

My TBD arrived at the dealership Monday with major transport damage. At least that is what my salesman told me. I'm glad I didn't wait for it and bought one off a lot 4 weeks ago.

It's already dirty. Besides no one wants to see my car, they want to see THEIR car. And I hope they see them soon.

Well I was tired of waiting for my car about 6 weeks ago but couldn't do anything about it because there was simply no fusion hybrids on dealer lots back then. Well they are showing up now and I found one very similar to the one I ordered. I bought it today. It was built on 11-23 so it didn't get stuck in TBD hell. I'm glad I got the fusion. It is everything I was expecting it to be. Still not happy about waiting so long but I am in a better mood for the holidays now.

Finally got confirmation that my FFH took a trip to Michigan this past week. I guess they weren't repairing the cars in Mexico, they were just waiting until room was made at Flat Rock to make the repairs. Kind of dumb if you ask me. Why couldn't they make repairs at both facilities? I guess I will see the car at the very end of December now. Beyond frustrating. Ordered on September 7 and built on October 19.

I thought I was close to getting my FFH. It was finally in transit from Mexico last week. The update I got today was it was in Gary, In. Only about 350 miles north of my dealership so I assume it is going to Flat Rock. I thought they were repairing / replacing the defects at Mexico as well as flat rock. I am really running out of patience now.

Well the dealer says my car is still showing "TBD", cyberdman says it is "in transit", and the person from ford that I chatted with online says it has shipped but still showing "TBD" though she said it was going to the dealership and not Flat Rock. I am learning that I don't have as much patience as I thought I had.

My 2013 FFH will be replacing my old 2005 Chrysler 300C AWD. I sold the 300 outright the second week of October with the anticipation of getting the FFH by the end of October. Guess I sold the 300 way too early since it is looking like I will be waiting until the end of December. At least I got $2100 more by selling outright than I would have by trading the 300 in. Unfortunately I will be spending a lot on diesel while driving a big F250 until I get the fuel efficient FFH.

Still waiting patiently on my FFH. I know it was still in Mexico on 10-30.

Has anyone heard anything new on what the issue is? After talking to some friends at a few dealerships I believe they are as much in the dark as we are. This is one of those times that no news is definitely not good news.

Sounds like I am kind of screwed all the way around. I ordered the car on 9-07-12. Supposedly the retail order didn't go through but the redundant dealer stock order that the salesman placed did. It was built on 10-19-12 and shortly after went to TBD. Now since it is a "dealer stock order" I don't have much leg to stand on if I contacted Ford and complained. Seriously thinking about going to another dealership that can actually place a retail order and 're ordering.

I wonder if I ordered another car with the exact same options would it show up around the same time frame as my current TBD order. Makes me wonder.

I feel that there can only be two reasons for the TBD, quality issues or shipping issues. whichever one it is, I hope it gets resolved quickly.

I hope it is lack of rail cars and not quality issues that is the hold up. But in reality it is the quality issues at the beginning of the program that could be causing the lack of rail cars. When you have thousands upon thousands of cars being shipped out as quickly as you can, you have to wait on those rail cars to get back to the plant to ship more cars.
