    Sure Ford does its own tests and reports the car's results. The question is what "tests" are they doing. The testing conditions are tightly dictated by the EPA ... Ford doesn't get to decide what testing parameters are "highway" or "city" independently.

    There is sufficient suckage to go around. I agree y'all have it way worse. The earliest I hoped for production when I ordered was early to mid Jan. I agree y'all should get yours before we or the Ehergi folks get ours. Hope that is so.

    Then wonder what the hold up is as it seems they can actually make the model/trim. Has to be limited supplier chain of some commodity and the HyTi was moved to the back of the line.

    Available in "early 2014" which is Ford slang for sometime before Christmas.

    Ford rep told me and I quote, "An official date was never released as to when production would start, so no delays have happened yet to my knowledge." No wonder why never tell their customers anything ...

    I srtill think the black interior across all models for the Ti trim is a branding and cost cutting effort.

    Indeed. And the drive for such is reduced cost and perhaps some bizarre Ford Titanium branding. I just plan on tinting the hell out of my windows and buying a flush Heatshield windshield reflective insert from Canvas Works. That is if I ever get this car. If I go with the Mazda6 I'll get the almond leather interior.

    Get the requisite posts under your belt and post your dealer and order code in Cyberdman's thread. He offers better information more often than Ford customer care or local dealers (from what I've seen). As best I can tell no one has been able to get a build date, let alone a delivery date on a retail order for a hybrid titanium. One hopes that will change soon.
