  1. On the top back of the remote use your finger nail in the middle of the grove and push down. The back should open to reveal the hidden secret key.
  2. I told my dealer I could get 1.49% financing from my credit union. The dealer were able to get me 1.29% for 60 months through Bank of America and I got the $500 rebate and the $750 private offer. They also sold me the 7 year 100k warranty for $50 over what I could have got it through floodford, but I thought it was worth it.
  3. Had the car less than a week and was on my way home today and the climate control started putting out just hot air. Set both controls to LO and cool are was coming out but not real cold. When set to 60 it was putting out hot air. Luckily it was a cool rainy Oregon day and I really didn't need air conditioning. Got home and started taking temperatures with an infrared thermometer, inside the car was 85 and climate control at 60 and was putting out 104 degree air. I thought maybe I would try to reset MFT but remembered hearing people saying all settings would be lost. Didn't really want to do that but only had the car 6 days so didn't have too much programmed in. I then remembered a post about a reset file put on a USB drive to force a reboot next time the car starts. The reset procedure was posted on the Ford Fusion Hybrid Forum on how to reset MFT without losing your presets. http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/6474-how-to-reset-myford-touch-wout-losing-your-presets/ Thought I would give it a try since I really didn't want to take the car in for service. The issue was resolved after a reboot and It's now pumping out nice an cold air again. A USB drive will now live in the car so I can reboot it just in case it's needed again.
  4. What did you do to your Fusion today (ok really yesterday)? I took delivery last night and drove it for the first time. Today plan to check on window tint and learn more stuff about the features.
  5. The railcar mine is on made it to Portland this morning, maybe both of us will have a new Hybrid Titanium this week :happy feet: Ford gave me an ETA of May 3 - May 9 and Friday my Dealer gave me an ETA of May 15th. Hopefully my dealer is wrong and it doesn't take over two week to get when it's so close.
  6. Can I get another update and was wondering if they show an ETA VIN: 3FA6P0RU0DR304162
  7. The 47/47/47 came from the EPA Government tests, as others have mentioned, Ford did not come up with those number. Also if you read your window sticker you will see. 'Actual results will vary for many reasons, including driving conditions and how you drive and maintain your vehicle.' A lot of information in the forums about real time Hybrid mileage not getting the 47. You should have been well aware of that before you purchased your vehicle. From what I understand the hybrid is not considered broken in until 5000 miles.
  8. That's my car your tracking Latest status is released from hold status with ETA 6pm from UP tracking number.
  9. Malibu, Have a couple of updates. My car built 4/17 and was put on a railcar yesterday and is In Transit.
  10. Thanks for all your help cyberdman, Can I get another update on: VIN: 3FA6P0RU0DR304162
  11. Your windows sticker shows a date of 4/12/2013 and the car is usually produced 7 days after that date which would be tomorrow. What change did you want to make?
  12. From what I have heard and been tracking the last couple of weeks looks like most are 7 days from the date on the sticker to the build date in ETIS. sticker Date Plus 7 Days ETIS RubyRoyal April 9, 2013 April 16, 2013 April 16, 2013 Malibu3105 #1 April 10, 2013 April 17, 2013 April 17, 2013 Phantomtech April 10, 2013 April 17, 2013 April 17, 2013 RubyRedFuse April 12, 2013 April 19, 2013 Jcg1005 April 12, 2013 April 19, 2013 HyTi Fusion April 12, 2013 April 19, 2013 Joveri April 4, 2013 April 11, 2013 April 11, 2013 okaydave April 4, 2013 April 11, 2013 April 12, 2013 Steveo358 March 21,2013 March 28, 2013 April 1, 2013
  13. On my VOC it has line items for the Fuel Charge and Adv Assessment in the dealer invoice column. I am assuming since it is on the VOC listed under the DLR INV column those are the ones you are referring as included in the invoice pricing.
  14. You have to enable the lane keeping each time you turn on the car by pushing the button on the end of the turn signal. I think you also have to be over 40 MPH.
  15. The way I have received coupons was on ford.com, I selected brochures (middle bottom), entered the 2013 fusion and selected by mail. I then picked Fusion, F150, and Mustang. All three arrived and each had the $750 coupon, too bad I can only use one. Did this in December after I initially ordered and did it again a couple of weeks ago since the original ones expired.
  16. When you ordered you car did the dealer give you expectations of when to expect it? 8-12 weeks?
  17. Order placed 12/15 and finally got a VIN today 3FA6P0RU0DR304162 and a build week of April 15th. It's about time i got a VIN!!
  18. The seats are also different in the Titanium. I really noticed the difference when at the dealer and sat in both the Titanium and SE. In my opinion the Titanium sport seat has more support and is more comfortable.
  19. My questions is what is high enough? Would it detect a curb that would hit the lower part of the front fascia You know when you're pulling into a parking space but go a little too far and hear the scraping. I don't parallel park enough to justify the cost but since it adds the front sensing system it might be worth getting.
  20. What I understand from the Ford Web Site. $1500 Retail Customer cash if for the Gas and Energi $500 Also called retail customer cash is for the Hybrid If you look at http://www.ford.com/cars/fusion/incentives/ and 'select a Vehicle' Fusion and under 'select model' choose the different models, you will then see the Retail customer cash under the (Finance Programs tab) change.
  21. In the Fusion manual it talks about the front sensing system. If this part of the active park assist? Does the system detect a curb when pulling up to it or only larger objects? Front Sensing System The front sensors are active when the gearshift is in any position other than P (Park) or N (Neutral) and the vehicle speed is below 6 mph (10 km/h). Coverage area of up to 27 inches (70 centimeters) from the front of the vehicle and about 6–14 inches (15–35 centimeters) to the side of the front end of the vehicle. Refer to the reverse sensing section for details on coverage area.
  22. My order was placed mid December so I'm at week 14 now without it being scheduled. I'm hoping that it gets scheduled next week. I see you're in Oregon also, had a little talk about dealer about others on this forum getting scheduled after I placed my order. He said what region are they in, as it seems like the NW region is the last to get scheduled. Also going with a smaller dealer I think the allocation thing is playing into it some.
  23. This is getting frustrating, ordered mid December and it hasn't been scheduled yet. The latest reply from the rep to dealer said 'The Fusion did not schedule, however you have allocation in week 13 and 15 watch the order bank for scheduling' Looks like it's not scheduling because of allocation, guess that's what I get by supporting a smaller local dealer then going to one of the many bigger dealers around. Getting to the point it if doesn't schedule week 13 just to cancel the order, or maybe I should order from a bigger dealer and see which one gets built faster.
