  1. Received my VIN on Thursday. Taylorjd, thanks for the spreedsheet updates. No Build date yet. VIN #: 3FA6P0RU1DR277005. Don't worry about it Pers69. If Fastronaut is correct, they will get all the practice in on mine. Maybe I should tell them the exhaust comes out the back. LOL. Good luck to everyone getting VIN's and Dates!!!
  2. Can you please track this Fusion Hybrid Titanium for me. Dealer #: F13103 Order #: 3061 Thanks in advance. Enjoy your time away!!!!
  3. Well considering that Feb 4th is 5 days away and not one person has recieved a scheduled build date or a VIN, I don't see March 4th as a way out prediction. I would love for him to be wrong.
  4. Thanks for the input neod192. Hopefully that means that Ford will be a little bit more American. I like that.
  5. Taylorjd is 100% correct. Waiting for the 14's is just a thought. Possibly a matter of prudent patience. I know how serious Ford is about thier quality control. It's important to have that security when putting out the cash that we all are doing. I took home my 2010 FFH in November of 2009 and I still am very happy with it and have no problem keeping it awhile longer. Great piece of technology and foresight on the part of Ford's R&D. This is why I jumped on the 2013 Ti, having it's new style and technology. As far as the Fusions being fabricated in Herm. Mexico right now, you are correct. This I believe was a consession by the UAW. But it is my understanding, which I may be wrong, that the UAW has an agreement (which is underway now) to move the fabrication of the Fusions from Mexico to it's Flat Rock, Mich. plant. Please check on it and let me know if it is just rumors. Anyway, with that said. Congrats to the people with the Energi Ti's being scheduled and lets all stay in touch and hope for better dates to come on the Hybrid Ti's.
  6. Received a call from the VP at the dealership last night. He has been very proactive and straight up with me. Thats all I can ask for. He advised me that my Titanium will go into production March 4th, and will take approximately 6 weeks from that point. Now the question is, do I wait? Do I jump ship and go to another manufacturer? Or do I just wait a couple of months, and the 2014's will out? I have an Ford Edge and a Ford Fusion Hybrid right now, and just wanted to stick with a union made American product. Ford really screwed this one up for alot of people out there. It's not just the people that are going to walk away. These people won't be coming back. The people buying the Ti's are the people with the money. Your only as good as the last meal you served. Shame.

  9. I agree. The question now is do I cancel my Hybrid Ti order to get a Energi Ti that can be scheduled.
  10. I believe Ford is catching up with it's customer base when it comes to the issue of choices. Keep in mind that they had no intention of building the Fusion Hybird with the Titanium upgrade. Customer demand wins out.
  11. I'm sure this is not the first time your dealer had a patron in this position. I'm sure they must have the ability the make waves.
  12. I definately agree that it is the responsibilty of the dealer. I have been waiting 9 weeks now for my FFH Ti. The salesman was a little remise in returning my calls on status. But as it turned out the VP of the dealership call my home at night with honest answers and gave me his direct line and told me what day he would give me an update. They were not the awnsers I wanted to hear, but they were direct and honest. I can't ask more of them. Any business is run in a semi-militeristic manner. Meaning there is a chain of command and responsiblity. It should not be taking litely. This is what creates a good and durable business model. When this does not happen, then it is time to jump to a higher level. Ford itself must make sure that there is accountablity to their patrons, when Dealers are suppling their product. There is where the problem exist's. Many Dealers are not held to account after they make that sale.
  13. Pajamaman, Have no idea why Ford hasn't sorted you out for a consulting position. Great points. Hope Ford appreciates the "outside the box" input.
  14. Are there any rumors out there on when production will begin on the FFH Titaniums?
  15. Are there any rumors out there on when production will begin on the FFH Titaniums?
  16. I'm having a hard time getting production dates on my 2013 FFH Titanium. Production promised Mid-December. Total waiting time 8-10 Weeks. Dealer can't tell me if Ford has even established a new production start date. Trying to be cool about it. But i do know where your coming from.
  17. Ford should put the ambient lighting back into the cup holders. I can't believe they took it out.
  18. Not looking forward to trading in my 2010 FFH, but i am sure looking forward to getting that 2013 FFH Titanium.
