  1. Congrats and a preemptive welcome! You really will love the car!
  2. I cannot wait for this update as I'm having pairing issues with my iPhone 5 and SYNC.
  3. That's okay as I can only put in about a gallon more than you and I have the AWD model with the 1 gallon larger tank.
  4. Now I see what you are talking about. I experienced what you described.
  5. How much is your phone bill monthly? Average person's monthly smartphone bill is probably what $100/month? Suddenly you're looking at $1200+/year, not including the subsidized purchase for that phone... Don't forget about that expense because it's rolled into the price of your phone. That's what you pay after all through the phone company's subsidized pricing. Remember folks MFT will get updates, which the car reviewers tend to get short-sighted about. MFT isn't perfect but it does things fairly well when you consider it has to talk to not only your phone but the hardware and software of other phones and their associated apps as well. When you get into software talking to software, talking to software, you're bound to run into issues.
  6. And the half-painted (half black painted?) bumper. Not a fan.
  7. I would recommend taking it in. More than likely you'll have to leave the car overnight so they can look at it when everything is cold. In the mean time you can back your car in and show off that front end!
  8. Do you park head in or do you back in? I typically back in to parking spaces and in my garage. Try doing that to avoid the shutter issue.
  9. Welcome! Coming from a Fusion Titanium owner (like you with all the bells and whistles) you'll love this car. It's simply one of the best cars out there and nearly competes (In Titanium trim) in the [entry level] luxury market.
  10. I cannot recall. If I experience it I'll let you know. If its consistently happens you may want to take it in. Might just need a recalibration or something.
  11. I prefer the touch screen and button-less setup as well. I'm glad I picked it up. And no you are not alone.
  12. Seems fine to me. And I've used different types of receivers.
  13. I used Redline for my hood struts on my Cougar. They have worked flawlessly for years.
  14. As a former Corolla owner ('05 Daily Driver), this is a much improved eye-pleasing model. It's even better looking that the current Camry is. Ugh that thing is hideous! Part of the front reminds me of a bit of Tesla, probably due to the partnership they have. Not fond of the 4x4 look they gave it.
  15. Longer Driver's side front floor-mat. Seriously it could be several inches longer BEFORE it even reaches the gas pedal. And a LED/HID headlamp option.
  16. This is the first time owning a Ford with Ambient lighting so I'm not missing the illuminated cup holders. I would've liked to see more colors however. But I'm happy with it as it sits. The Driver's floor mat is more of a bother for me than anything else.
  17. Awesome! Thanks! Yeah accidents happen. All we can do is keep things down to a minimum, but we cannot control what those around us do. At least you're prepared now!
  18. Where did you get the touch up pens? Happened to me in my Corolla. Eh i just left it alone and completely forgot about it lol.
  19. Oh I'm not. I could care less if he does it or not.
  20. Why? This car doesn't need any of that stuff. Imo it just cheapens the look of the car. I would rather wait for an aftermarket grill and replace it that way, like the CDC Fusion. http://shop.classicdesignconcepts.com/talladega-fusion/ Remember: stock > ghetto. chicken wire grills, Z3 fenders, crazy vinyl jobs on cars, underbody neon lighting, altezzas, lambo doors, angel/demon eyes, spinners (and even more hilarious hubcap spinners), stick on Buick portholes, plastidip, and the money wasting list goes on... Just offering my point of view as I speak from experience. To the OP. Understand that I'm looking out for you because I've been there and done some of the things I listed. I don't want you to spend your hard earned money on products that are typically designed to take your money. Remember APC? I would rather see you save your hard-earned money and spend it on products that offer a better return on investment, products that you can take off and sell later on, or even do a higher trim level conversion. I certainly don't want you to potentially ruin your car, even if this product is designed to come right off.
  21. Probably what till happen is teaser pics late this year and the actual reveal sometime early next year. Perhaps during the Detroit Auto show Jan. 18-26? http://www.freep.com/article/20130412/BUSINESS01/304120144/2014-North-American-International-Auto-Show
  22. No doubt. I agree with you there. I think a central integrated exhaust unique for Hybrid Titaniums (and Energi as well regardless of trim level), something similar to the Focus ST, would be a little more appropriate. Then add in an rear lower valance for better aerodynamics. You'll have this conversion and should Ford do something slightly different for 2014 (who knows) there's that option as well. If I were a Hybrid or Energi owner, I would wait and see what comes down the line for 2014 Hybrid Titanium trim models to see if it's different.
  23. You do realize that the Dual Exhaust is not Titanium specific right? That's 2.0L EcoBoost specific. However, glad to see Ford is owning up to their mistake and offering dual exhausts on a Hybrid Titanium as a 2014 model, as silly as that sounds lol. It does add to the symmetry of the car.
  24. It'll be interesting retrofitting these options on a '13 Fusion, depending on what needs to be done. However, since I purchased a Fusion Ti with all options, these are not deal breakers for me. Buying a new car you should either, buy within your budget or buy what you want so you have no buyers remorse. Learned that lesson buying my first new car over 15 years ago.
