  1. I would anticipate possibly LED/HID headlamp assemblies for the Fusion, probably for the Titanium trim. Maybe a grill change or a front end change? Although that may come in 2016.
  2. I second this. I saved $500 MSRP just buy purchasing a Fusion on the lot vs. ordering one last year. I just happened to find a Fusion with exactly all the options that I was looking for.
  3. You may want to refer to those in your 4th cirlce as to when the red brick leather will be out.
  4. I have a service appt later this afternoon and I am going to address the smelling AC issue. This is one thing I recommend every person reading this do. BTW I would love to hear about your exit strategy for MD...
  5. It's a nifty mod for car enthusiasts and modders. However, for most Fusion owners, the car will be serviced at the shop (dealership or other place) and a prop rod is all that is needed. Edit: And DIYers that prefer hood struts.
  6. I think it has more to do with what temperature you have your climate control set at than anything else. Yeah kinda stupid that turning off the AC does not turn it off. I would rather have it turn it off and have the AUTO setting turn up the fan speed to accomodate not having the AC running. I think if we complain to Ford regarding the issue it will get resolved. Seems like a minor software fix on a MFT update. Otherwise I just do what you do or roll the windows open. remember folks even if you don't use the Park Assist feature the front sensors can still be used
  7. One thing I've noticed with the Sync update is that I lost the text notification on my iPhone 5. Even if I go into the phone settings and select an alert it states that my phone doesn't have the option on bluetooth. However, I seem to have a rock solid connection so far. Microsoft progress? lol
  8. I may look to convert the 6x9 subs to 8" free air subwoofers.
  9. No. Let's fight about this. /sarcasm - (for the sarcasm impaired)
  10. Yeah I'm getting this too. Something to mention when I take it in for service.
  11. Believe me you aren't the only one lol Treat your wheels as if they are paint. I use Wolfgang's Deep Gloss Paint Sealant on my wheels and it keeps them easy to clean and stay glossy. I'm trying out the Sonnax wheel cleaner to get inside the lug nut holes as well. I use a wheel brush to get inside the rim and use a MF wash mitt to clean the outside spokes. Throw in a little quick detailer afterwards and it'll keep them looking like new. Hope this helps.
  12. RRF985 has a few times and did it himself. Hope this can help. http://2gfusions.com/index.php/topic,960.0.html
  13. Glad to hear mileage is improving in your car. From what I've been gathering it seems to improve after the first oil change and continues to improve. My friend has a 2011 F-150 with a 3.7L V6 and he's beating EPA highway mileage now.
  14. Sorry to hear your issues are getting worse. What's your mileage on the car? Hopefully there will be a fix. I made a complaint to Ford about the Trans, but I've been riding in my friend '10 SHO and even his trans (6F55) shifts similarly.
  15. Hey Virtual American, I was typically seeing it being stuck just trying to connect. It'll say "Connecting" with the wait circle then after a min or so it would just say Connect a phone or something to the like. I would try getting your system reset like mine and see if that helps. Good luck! Gorgeous ride btw! The new MKZs are impressive looking.
  16. The only issue I have had was sync connectivity issues with my iPhone 5. Dealer performed a Master Reset, disconnecting the battery for 15 min. So far everything has worked well.
  17. Damn right. If customers are going to pay that much for a top trim level Fusion Hybrid, they should have the option to choose from different wheels period. SE Hybrid owners have the option, why don't the Hybrid Ti owners have that? That and the aluminum pedals not available on HyTi models. I'll support HyTi owners for getting more than 1 wheel option and all Hybrid owners for getting a unique Hybrid exhaust.
  18. It's still a 2.0L thing. It's only "commonly known" as a Ti thing by Hybrid Ti owners that believe that all Ti's should have a Dual exhaust. I don't know about you but most people out there do not buy hybrids to have a flashy looking exhaust. The numbers (of hybrid customers) are stacked against you. It also just does not scream "fuel efficient", but higher performance. As you said, Hybrid owners purchase a Hybrid vehicle with Fuel Efficiency at the top (or near top) of their list. I would rather like to see a unique central exhaust on Hybrid models or hide the tail pipe completely. As it stands the single exhaust is very nicely done. No reason to be shameful of that at all. I'd be more upset about the pigeon hole'd wheel decision you're stuck with. Only one 18" wheel selection for Hybrid Titanium owners is just plain nonsense to me.
  19. I noticed that too lol! Yeah I'm sure it's a glitch and it'll get corrected soon.
  20. This is a well thought out post. Headlamps - The biggest issue with LED/HID headlamps is going to be cost. That's an easy $1-2k option right there. You'll be pushing this car well into MKZ territory. Should it be done? Oh yes, I hope it will be done, but expect the cost to rise, and it'll probably be a Titanium-only (maybe Luxury option) option, kinda like what Ford does with the Mondeo. I know I'll pay for them if it does happen lol! Rim choice- Honestly the standard 18" Titanium wheel choice is the most unattractive of the bunch. There should be another choice for Titanium owners (especially Hybrid Ti owners) than that rim they are stuck with. Not to mention it looks way too similar to the better looking 18" Luxury wheel choice. Panoramic sunroof- probably won't happen. Again, adds more cost. It would compete way too much with the MKZ unfortunately. Thankfully they are adding heated and cooled seats, a gray interior choice (I think) along with brick red. I personally like the rear tail lamps and I doubt they will change until the next generation is introduced. The only thing I honestly see changing exterior-wise would be minor front and rear valence changes (most likely in the lower part of the bumpers) to give it a face lift for 2015+ models if anything.
  21. The thing is it's not part of the trim, it's part of the powertrain choice. That's what a lot a HyTi owners are not understanding. It just so happens that ALL Gas Titanium models are 2.0L Ecoboost powertrains. I can understand the gripe, but those that purchased a Hybrid Titanium purchased a car for it's fuel efficiency. Typically flashy dual exhaust tips scream "high(er) performance", not "fuel efficient". It's also counter intuitive as showcasing an exhaust on a car that's supposed to be showcasing fuel efficient and less greenhouse emissions. Personally I'd like to see a unique central exhaust for Hybrid Titanium models. But it probably won't happen.
  22. I highly doubt it. What sense would it make to take away a feature on a top trim level that is currently offered for this MY (model year) vehicle? Adding the top trim taillights on a luxury trim option for SE Fusions makes sense. And Single Exhaust for HyTi models.
