  1. I really like the Fusion Energi as well. I can get in and out of the C-Max easier than the Fusion though. Same thing with the Tesla model S, but I would not spend what they are asking for one anyway. The C-Max Energi is perfect for me and fun to drive. I purchased mud flaps and did tint all the way around, but not the sunroof. Looks good with the White Platinum paint.
  2. I love my C-Max Energi. 170mpg so far. I sold my 2010 Prius to my son. I did not want to let it get out of the family since it was such a good vehicle. MPG is related to weather and driving. My prius would drop from around 50 mpg to 45 mpg during the winter. A lot of cold weather driving with the headlights on would use a lot of the battery power and it would take a good portion of the trip for the ICE to heat up the cabin and go into hybrid mode. I expect to be able to pre-heat the Energi while plugged in at home or at work before I drive off. I expect the same for cooling this summer. I do have a problem with how MPGe is figured. I pay 6.5 cents per kw at home and 9 cents at work. Much less than $4.20 per gallon. I also have 78 solar panels at home. 18.72 kw of power, so some of the power at home is not off the grid.
  3. Yes, some of them are way overboard. I am looking for function instead of fashon. I do like the Tesla model S lighting with the tech package. I saw one the other day and I thought it looked good. You can tell an Audi is an Audi very quickly on the road and agree with your assessment.
  4. LED all the way. They are much better. I really like the look of the LED DLR's on the road today as well.
  5. LED light option for the Energi. LED DLR for all.
  6. No changes for 2014 http://insideevs.com/new-2014-model-year-ford-c-max-energi-brings/
  7. NO CHANGES for 2014 http://insideevs.com/new-2014-model-year-ford-c-max-energi-brings/
  8. I did not activate the DRL's, as I know they use battery energy. I have auto headlights and auto wipers, but will turn on fog lamps and parking lights during light rain. Auto wipers will not turn on headlights until the rain is heavy. The only upgrades I did were OEM mudflaps and 35% tint all the way around, except the windshield, which I did 35% top 6"..
  9. At work, I pay .07 kwh and at home I pay under .06 kwh. Are you people not able to negotiate your rates with several providers? I also have a 8.4 kw hybrid solar system and a 10.02 kw micro inverter system at home. Plug in hybrid makes sense for me. I have both a portable 110 as well as a portable 220 charger.
  10. I ordered February 4th. No VIN as of last weekend, so I bought one from the dealer that he just got in. I ordered an Energi 303a w/Pano in Blue Candy with a light tan interior. Bought an Energi in platinum white with charcoal interior 303a w/pano.. Added 35% tint to windows and OEM mud guards. Aprox $1600 off sticker w/$750 customer cash. 76 MPG with two long non plug-in trips. Very happy!
  11. Congrats on your new "arrival". Hope all goes well for you!
  12. Thanks for the information. 13 weeks and counting!
  13. Ordered February 4th Dealer Code 41W246 Order #4500
  14. Would make sense to me that more led lights be used on plug-in hybrids.
