  1. Update complete. I was hoping a few more little tweaks, I can't lie, but overall satisfied. Before my wife hated using sync to find a POI or other destination. Now with the onscreen assist, I'm sure she will find it much easier.
  2. Jared, Never once have I been negative towards anyones post(s). Please feel free to show me where if I have. I was simply making a statement that you are doing an extraordinary bit of pocket/purse work to open your windows using the Global feature on accident. I dont want to screw up my sweet fob for my fully-loaded Black Ti, so I put nothing but my fob in that pocket. I've tried to do this on purpose and had a hard time opening the windows let alone do it on accident at a mall or other shopping center. Obviously Jared you wear skinny jeans because you're too up-tight. But in all seriousness for someone having issues with it NOT working. Take it to the dealer. If it works and it was an accident, you have too much going on in your pocket. It's practically an act of God to make it function. If you don't want the functionality then disable it in the car using the menu on the left side of the steering wheel if you have a Titanium. If not the dealer will have to do it. Have a great Fusion day everyone.
  3. I am truly at a loss for how this many people are "accidentally" global opening windows. How much crap are you putting in your pockets with your keys? How skinny are your skinny jeans that you could long press the unlock button for more than 5 seconds? I can't believe this topic has had this much traction. I understand forums are for anything and everything, but how about we discuss the new update that could be rolling out any day now seeing as how the website is down for maintenance. What's in it? iOS car? Better voice integration? Face your fob away from your body, quit wearing skinny jeans, and don't put so much crap in your pockets. Ladies, your keys shouldn't be just tossed into your purse like a pack of gum. Interior soft sided pocket only. Issues solved.
  4. I'm not looking for extreme power. But even a small power boost, maybe a third of the power would be awesome.
  5. Drove from Jacksonville to Melbourne, Fl over the weekend. It's roughly 175 miles. We had quite a bit of city driving once there visiting family. We filled up on the way back in Port Orange. I went to the first click and did the math. I was able to get 27.6MPG. Pleasantly surprised. I have 1700 miles on the clock. Hoping it gets a little better with more mileage. Oh, I was doing the speed limit or slightly under everywhere.
  6. Interesting. More interesting if they could do this to the Fusion. Even just a portion of the power. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/cobb-ford-focus-st-test-review
  7. I don't understand how you do not think my MPGs compute. I accelerate as quickly as possible without being obnoxious and then set the cruise at no more than 5mph over the speed limit. My commute is 84% highway. Mid-afternoon to work. Late evening, early hours of the morning to home. So I'm not really fighting traffic in either direction. I haven't used fuelly.com yet but a preliminary calculation had me at 24MPG combined on my last fill-up. Unfortunately I squeeze every drop into the tank, and my wife did the previous fill-up, and she doesn't even try so my numbers may be a couple more MPGs better. That pic is pure Instant Average. Shortly after at pic was taken my instant average went to 35.3 for a split second downhill at the overpass of I-10.
  8. The first year, 2009 I believe, of the Hyundai Equus. They deliver the car to your house after purchase and the OM is an iPad 2. You schedule all your maintenance from it.
  9. "We should all get copy of legislation from Florida, and work with our state legislators, and US Senators and Representatives." I finally received a response from a local gas station and they said due to the Federal mandate they would still receive blended fuel. The hurdles that the states have to get over is the very real possibility that by over-ruling Federal mandates they will lose out on Federal funding of state roads, and other transportation funding. I want to see pure gas more than anyone. Unfortunately it's going to take more states getting involved to make a difference.
  10. Voila! Tinted and a really good MPG shot. Found out the best way to maintain great gas mileage. Accelerate quickly to your desired speed and cruise control. Up overpasses, decelerate slightly. As you hit the apex of the overpass slowly increase speed with the cruise control buttons back to desired speed. Anyways. Hope you enjoy. Wowed all my friends with the park-assist. They couldn't believe it. Thanks.
  11. So my gorgeous fully loaded with the H-spokes Tuxedo Black Titanium is in the garage. I'd have pics but we just got hit with a massive thunderstorm with possible hail so I wasn't going to push it. Went over the car with a white glove and fine tooth comb. Found two issues that I notified them about. Going to schedule me a return visit. Possibly have them tint the car while its there. Other than that, absolutely love it.
  12. So I missed my Fusion again today. Unfortunately it got to the dealership too late. Picking it up after work tomorrow. Fuel freshness mode. Holy crap, what's next? A car that parallel parks itself?
  13. I emailed our three local gas stations about when they will start receiving ethanol free fuel. We shall see.
  14. You guys with the Energi's should probably put fuel preservative in your tanks. That gas may get old before you have to use it. Ha!
  15. Disregard. I signed the papers yesterday and should be picking up the car tomorrow. Thanks anyways for the service you provide.
  16. Either way I received the $750. I should get the car tomorrow. I'm happy. Hopefully you are too.
  17. I think what RRF985 is trying to say is that due to the higher octane it burns more efficiently thus leading to less carbon buildup in your motor leading to more happy 240 turbocharged horses...
  18. Did you opt for the spoiler delete?
  19. With Jacksonville being as large as it is, most of our driving is interstate/ highway, Adaptive cruise control made too much sense for us. AWD is nice as well, by not typically something I would consider unless I were purchasing a sports car.
  20. That is exactly the same Fusion we are soon to take delivery on. We went fully loaded. What options did you go with?
  21. Hmm. Possibly the next step would be to do a reset...I'm sure there is a post on here somewhere for the procedures.
  22. Ethanol free is definitely better for your car in the long run but the good ole EPA has ruined that for us. Either way I'm sure she meant to not use E85.
  23. Is it something you have to turn on? Maybe you accidentally turned off the HD radio feature. I haven't taken delivery of my Fusion yet so I don't know for sure. My buddy just bought a new Sonota and it was a setting he had to select to listen to HD stations. Hope I helped.
  24. So I was freaking out about losing out on the $750 if I didn't get the car by tomorrow. So I called the Sales Manager and he said since I have a VIN and he saw that my car was in Jacksonville to be loaded on a hauler at we could sign the papers today. So all paperwork is done. Our Fusion should be in possibly as early as Monday. Can't wait. Great dealership experience. Duval Ford all the way.
