    Here's another tip to determine when your vehicle is built, that is if it is Sync enabled. Go to myfordmobile.com and attempt to register your vehicle using your VIN. MyFordMobile will not recognize your VIN until the car is built, then it will allow you to give the car a name and to select its color. Mine (affectionately named "Wraith") was finally built today.

    Yes, I ordered an Energi, and yes, the $750 is in the database. What's even more annoying is that I gave the dealer a print out of my X-plan pricing and complete order codes nearly 10 days before. But they could find someone that knew how to input the order except their "inventory manager" who was working a tent sale offsite, so I had to wait for her to return to the dealership the following week to actually place my order in the system. Thankfully, I have saved those E-mails documenting their delay in the event that I need to remind them of it.

    I ordered within a day or two of you guys yet I've got to wait two weeks longer! It appears that I am going to lose out on being able to use the $750 Ford Cash since it expires on December 6. :sad:

    I don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, but my VIN is 3FA6P0SU7ER227320. Although this is shown on the spreadsheet, when I click on the link the window sticker for 3FA6P0LU2ER157627 is shown, which is a Hybrid SE, not an Energi. And although I think the "darkside" is probably more appropriate to my username and devilish theme, my car is actually supposed to be silver. This is probably the result of operator (Lucifer's) error.

    Like when we blindly obey our technology and ignore reality-following electronic GPS units' directions and forgetting to look out the window at our actual surroundings, or at its most basic level, not being comfortable doing math in our heads because we have been raised to use calculators.

Where is the updated spreadsheet posted? I also see a message that the spreadsheet is too large to display, but when I click to download it an HTTP 404 missing file error is triggered.

    Toz, have you been trying to get a window sticker via the links at the bottom of Cyberdman's posts? I have been trying to get mine but the response is that it cannot be found in their system. Had you been receiving a similar response?

    Guys, there is a fix, GM fixed this problem in their vehicles. In my 2010 Escalade there was a technical service bulletin and a computer program setting that could be turned "on", but required the Tech II diagnostic computer to do so. Essentially, when A/C had been used at shutdown, something like 15 - 30 minutes later (long after you will have walked away from the vehicle) the computer turns the fan on high for 5 minutes to dry the evaporator core, then turn back off. I'm sure why it waits for so many minutes before activating, but perhaps that is to preclude it from operating unnecessarily when shutdown for just a few minutes, like while filling-up for gas or going into a convenience store, etc. The Escalade has a remote start feature that, like many of our Fusions, can be used to pre-heat or pre-cool the cabin. Obviously, running the fan when the engine is off is going to use some battery power, but not nearly so much as to prevent the car from starting later. So I imagine that those of us with computer-controlled A/C systems could do the same thing. Code needs to be written and uploaded with the next round of computer updates. With the MFT interfaced cars, this option could even be a driver-controlled option in one of the menus and not need a technician to activate.

    Shaggy, where is your headliner unraveling? Do you have any pictures? Do you have any idea of anything in particular which may have caused it to unravel? Where did you get your puddle lights, and do they flicker?

    I called and spoke with the new car manager (with whom I had placed the order) about the priority code. He though a he had to get a regional manager to approve a higer code. I told him the dealership could assign 10-19 for retail orders so he did not need regional approval. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    When I placed my order 9574 with dealer 56A301 on Saturday, Oct.19, I specifically asked if they would give it a priority code 10. Today I received the DORA and noted that it was assigned a priority code 19. Am I correct that the dealer is the entity that assigns priority codes? Can a dealer change a priority code after the order is placed (as in tomorrow)? I sent an E-mail to the new car manager at dealer 56A301 tonight and asked him to re-assign a priority code 10 tomorrow so it has a better chance of being scheduled on Thursday. Is there anything else I can do? Try to contact a regional manager?

    There is another forum monitored by someone that provides tracking/status information for vehicles that have been ordered, but not yet delivered. The rules for the voluntary, benevolent service state that the way to request an update on a vehicle is to "bump" the thread, but I don't find instructions describing how to do so. Since I'm older than dirt I do know how to dance the '70's disco era "Bump", but I don't know how to do it to these threads. Would someone be so kind as to illucidate me?

    Apparently, the Fusion Hybrid and Energis employ some sort of active noise cancelling audio system. Does anyone know if the active noise control (sound dampening system) is always "on" even if the sound system is turned off? Other than the following reference in the fuse table: 33 20A1 Radio, Active noise control I can't find any information on it. Please don't chastise me for posting this question in other forums too. I can't stop myself, its in my nature to sin!
