  1. Ok, that's better. You'd think with all of the other cars that have this technology, including handless tailgates in the Edge, this stuff would trickle up to the more expensive Expedition. lol
  2. What button do you hit on the keypad? You don't have to do your 4 digit code do you?
  3. It will be on the 2016 Expedition.
  4. Yes, I love the EB in my SHO. A tune for the Expy from Livernois is making over 70whp/70wtw more! Should be almost a 13 second truck in the 1/4. I put a tune on my SHO and it pulls so much better. It's a high 12 second car. Ford left a lot on the table with their factory tune. I just wish they did more changes like they did for the 2013 Taurus refresh. The 2010-2012 Taurus had the same wimpy proximity key functions, no heated steering wheel, and no LED tails. Shouldn't have taken Ford much to do the same updates to the Expedition. Oh well. I still like it, just torn between it and a Yukon. I was almost set on spending a few more for the Navigator. Then realized you can't get an integrated trailer brake controller in it, WTF Lincoln??
  5. I haven't got to test drive a 2015 Expy yet. Could someone please tell me how you unlock/lock the car from the outside with the proximity key? Did Ford half a$$ it and make it so you have to hit the unlock/lock button on the fob? Do you have to use the keypad on driver's side? On my SHO, I just put my hand on the door handle it and it unlocks. If I want to lock, I touch a small area on the driver/passenger door handle with my finger and it locks the car. I read an online review where the guy was complaining about it, had to use keypad. So you can't lock/unlock car from passenger side?
  6. I can't believe the Navigator doesn't have an integrated trailer brake control!
  7. Coming down to a new Yukon SLT or a Expedition Limited. Maybe Yukon Denali, as you can get one for $61K. Anyone towed with a 2015 Expy? What are you towing? Looking at buying a 6000' travel trailer and hoping it handles well. Curious if the auto level rear suspension works well and keeps the back end up. Yukon is rated 8100 and Expedition is 9100. I live at high altitude, so turbos are a big advantage as well.
  8. Dangit, still no HIDs, heated steering wheel and only driver one touch auto window. Really want an Expy but just lacking a few key features a $63K rig should have. Anyone towed with one yet? How does the auto level suspension work?
  9. Livernois got 80whp/80wtq more with just a tune. A tune does wonders on my 2013 SHO... The Expy should be a beast with a few mods.
  10. The criticism is that Ford didn't give a $60K SUV the options to make it competitive. No reason it shouldn't have adaptive CC, heated steering wheel, HID/LED lights, collision warning, lane departure, cross traffic warning. The F150 got most of this for 2015, including a 360 camera, so hopefully an aluminum Expy with these options is in the near future.
  11. I agree with everything said. Missed a heated steering wheel also. Oh, and adaptive CC, collision warning. And power middle seats. We are shopping between Tahoe, Yukon, and Expedition. You can get a base Denali 4wd w/ sunroof for $62K at Laura GMC. Com. I'd only seriously consider the Expy if I can get it at $50K out the door.
  12. Huh, doesn't topgun have the 22"s? Look better to me. Sweet looking rig! I'd order mine just like that, but with middle buckets.
  13. Thanks. If I can't get $10K off MSRP, then I'd go with the Denali that offers lane warning, adaptive CC, HUD, heated steering wheel, hands free tailgate, and wireless phone charging.
  14. How much off MSRP are you guys getting on your Expeditions? I'm still pissed there are no HIDs on a $60K Expedition and only driver side window is auto up. Also no heated steering wheel is weak. Might have to bump up to a base Navigator. I can get a base Yukon Denali w/ 22", Sunroof/DVD for $8K off MSRP, so around $63K. Might be the way to go.
  15. Wow, I think you're right. Lists Halogens for the Limited, Platinum, and King Ranch. WTF, Ford? Off my list for sure now.
  16. The 2013 Taurus got a heated steering wheel in it's refresh. The 2015 Explorer now has a heated steering wheel. There is no reason the 2015 Expedition shouldn't have got a heated steering wheel. Props to Ford for finally ditching the 5.4L, adding a push button start, adding HIDs, and a real remote start. Hopefully the Navigator got a heated steering wheel. You'd be crazy not to get a Denali over a Navigator!
  17. Is there a heated steering wheel on Limited+ modes? I can't find anywhere that says there is. Surely a $60K+ Expedition has a heated steering wheel? My '13 SHO has one and I won't have another car without it. If it doesn't have one, I seriously will end up spending a lot more money on a 15i Denali
