  1. My 2015 6.2 3.73 gear after 19.000 miles just started pulling 13 - 13.6 MPG up until 19,000 miles I was lucky to get 12MPG. Not sure if it is the mileage or just that it is warmer outside. Pulling 5th wheel with tractor and all implements gets 9 - 10 MPG
  2. Thanks guys I kind of figured that was the best I was going to get. Running 55-60 on the expressway here in Michigan you would get run over. I have a couple of trips planned on 2 lane highways where speed is 55 so I will check again on those trips. ( I actually check every tank). Towing heavy I get 9 MPG.
  3. Ok this past week end took a little trip ran 70-75 put 258 miles on and filled up took 20 gallons for a 12.9 MPG. I think this is terrible and would like to know how everyone else seems to be getting 15 -18 with this truck?
  4. I like the way it handles much better when towing. I haul a 30' flatbed 5th wheel with my tractor and tiller and brush hog. The max tow 150 did an OK job I just didn't feel comfortable when loaded you knew it was back there with the F250 it puls like a dream.
  5. I am hoping it will get better, I have yet to take it on a trip where I wasnt towing so have no real idea what kind of mileage it will get. I know my 2010 F 150 I could average right around 15 doing the same driving, I know for some reason the mileage drops in the winter both on GM and Fords. My son's have 1 GMC and 1 Ford Eco boost and they both complain in the winter.
  6. Man I must be doing something wrong I have a 2015 crew cab 6.2 with 3.73 gears and I have never gotten better than 12 and that was empty driving 55 MPH. 9 - 10 when pulling. Traded my 2010 F 150 max tow for this and not happy at all. I currently have 12,000 miles on this truck. Most of my driving is country roads 50 - 55 MPH going back and forth to work. My gauge in the dash say average is 11.9 but it never figured that way when putting it to pencil and paper.
  7. I have a 2015 Super duty crew cab and was wondering if anyone else has this issue. If I go down a muddy road the inside of my doors get caked with mud and what doesn't make sense to me is the rear doors get it worse than the front. I just cleaned them today wish I would of taken a picture before I cleaned to show what I am talking about. It was so bad on the drivers side rear door that it actually popped the pin on the seal and it was hanging . After I cleaned all the mud off I was able to pop it back in. I have never seen anything like this and am wondering if it just my truck or is everyone having this issue. Does anyone know if they make something to go between the running board and the bottom of the doors to keep the mud away? I also noticed snow and slush does the same thing. I do have molded mud flaps on the front and rear. Ford has a very serious design flaw if there is no fix for this. I can see these areas rusting out prematurely because of this.
  8. Put the clips in the back seat of the superduty to attach car seats.
  9. I finally got my truck and was very happy with it until I went to put in the grandkids car seat. I can't believe that the super duty does not have the hooks in the seat for a car seat. What a pain it is to install using the seatbelts. In this day and age I can't beleive Ford dropped the ball on this. I called the dealer and was told that they have never put them in the superduty. Does anyone know if there is anythig after market that can be installed?
  10. Is there anyway to check if it has been built?
  11. Its looking like you are correct was notified today it will be built 1-5-15 because there is a shortage of 6.2 motors.
  12. Anyone hear any rumors about a shortage of 6.2 engines. I ordered my truck in November was told it would be here in 4 to 6 weeks, and today was told they got a build date of 1-5-15 because there was a shortage of 6.2 motors. I was hoping to have it before Christmas now I'll be lucky if I get it by February. Not Happy Vin number is 1FT7W2B65FEC40277
  13. Ordered my 250 on 11-12-14 got my VIn 12-1 hoping it gets built this week. My dealer is about 150 miles from the plant so hoping it gets here quick the waiting is killing me.
  14. I ordered my super duty 11-12-14 and was notified this week 12-1-14 that the dealer has gotten a VIN number. does anyone know how long it take after the VIN is issued? They told me when I ordered it that it would be 4 to 6 weeks. It has been 3 and the waiting is killing me. First time I ordered everything I wanted instead of getting what they had on the lot also my first new F-250 . Currently have a 2010 F150 max tow super crew. It has been a good truck I just tow too much heavy stuff and need the superduty.
