  1. Oh that is sooo awesome. I can't wait to get home!!! Travelling in Pittsburgh... wish I was staying for the game, but now really want to get home! Will be sure to post a pic! Thank you so much for the tracking help, it was great to be able to have some good reliable information on where we were in the process! Great thing that you're doing here for all who post and Ford.
  2. Can we please see if my Expedition has shipped yet? 2015 Expedition - VIN = 1FMJU2AT1FEF09194
  3. Can we please check for an updated status on my order? "Good, you have a VIN. Let's use that from now on. 2015 Expedition - VIN 1FMJU2AT1FEF09194" Thank you!!!
  4. Waloud, has the OK been given to ship? Could have sworn I saw a 2015 rolling down I-275 in Cincinnati this morning . . .
  5. Can we see if there is an update to my order? Thank you! "From now on for this order, until you get a VIN and you want to bump the status. Bump with this info as a reminder to me: FIN Code: ZI767 Order: 8375 Dealer Code: F47002"
  6. Thank you so much for figuring this all out! I will just plan to sit on this for a few weeks now. I'll bump the thread after labor day and see if we have a change in status then. Once again THANK YOU!!
  7. DORA Attached. Not sure what I am doing wrong here. I apologize. DORA.pdf
  8. Grasping at straws . . . Could it be F47002?? Sorry, I'm at a loss, he is insisting his code is 47A002.
  9. This is from the ford website: Woody Sander Ford Inc 12.11 miles away Dealer Code: 47A002 235 W Mitchell Ave, I-75 Exit #6., Cincinnati, OH 45232
  10. This is the dealer code I was given by my sales person at Woody Sander Ford in Cincinnati . . .
  11. Could you please track my order for a 2015 Expedition? Dealer Code: 47A002 Order Number: 8375 I don't have a VIN yet and understand that production just began today. My order was placed in June. Thank you and I appreciate you doing this for those ordering Fords!!
  12. As someone who has replaced bulbs twice already in a 2011 Expedition, I would love to see the LED's. Pretty disappointed that the '15 Expedition has LED's up front but not in the back . . .
  13. Have noticed some of the higher end cars trending away from leather to synthetic "leather like" materials for seating. Cost cutting I suppose or a reason to charge $1500 extra for real leather seats. My concern with heating cloth seats would be durability especially with kids and the spill factor. . .
  14. The Fusion is a pretty good looking car, but not so hot in the performance category. I would love to see an SHO version. I mean if they can basically do it for the Explorer . . .
  15. Haha! That would be a great commercial. Have Mike Rowe standing there egging them on!
  16. Though not as glamorous as a trip to Germany to drive your Mercedes or BMW off the line and then stick on the boat home, I have to believe there are some car nuts like me out there that would pay a little extra fee to drive their vehicle off the line and put every inch on the vehicle themselves. I would love to drive down to KY and drive my new Expedition off the line. I have to believe there are some Mustang buyers out there that would love to do the same. Corvette does it in Bowling Green . . .
  17. The keypad on the doors is awesome. Can't believe you don't see more of that on other vehicles.
  18. Wouldn't be that hard to throw a step in off the back to make it easier for the dogs to climb in as well. The young one hops right up, the older one needs some help . . .
  19. OK, pretty cool tech. Not sure I see the big advantage if you have to have the remote start to make it work. I mean it's cool and all that you can start your car from a mile away, but wouldn't you be just a little concerned what was going on with it between the time you started it and the time you got there?
  20. There is a heckuva lot of roof on an Expedition, why the tiny sunroof? Explorer and Flex have the big ones, c'mon step into the light!!
  21. I can add Mercedes Benz to list that you can track your vehicle. Our sales person gave us detailed information and a weekly update. The 7 week boat ride kind clamps down on the excitement but then it was like amazon. Boat is in the dock, car is off the boat, car is through customs, car assigned to trucking com. eta next Tuesday, arrived at dealer. I agree that it's about information. Once we've signed on the dotted line and agreed to purchase the car, in most cases placed a deposit, you should be able to track the vehicles production and delivery. I understand that when you order a vehicle and production has yet to begin there won't be any action until production starts. But seriously, what is the harm with having a status that says, "Production begins xx/xx/xxxx check back at that time." I think people would be more likely to order vehicles and get exactly what they want if the "build and price" on the web site could also become a tracking system. Keep the dealer involved. Take the build and price specs to the dealer, let them add their code. Easy sale. They validate the purchase and you can go back to the web site and track your order. I ordered a 2015 Expedition in June. Sure would be nice to know when I could expect it instead of getting sometime in Sept or Oct as an answer.
  22. How is security handled on the modem installed in the car? Any concerns someone could bust a window and take off?
  23. 94,000 miles on a white 2011 Limited. No issues whatsoever. Great truck. Worst thing that has happened was the motor on the automatic running board went bad on the driver's side. Other than that oil, brakes and tires!
  24. True, a couple of videos on YouTube show them whining about wanting to take to their home base and really work on it . . . Anyone know if the LED fog lights will double as daytime running lights or does the daytime running lights option just leave the headlights on?
  25. My neighbor has had to replace the air suspension on a 2006 Navigator. $2800. Tough pill to swallow on truck that's 8 years old. No real choice, the rear end was practically sitting on the tires. I know of several other similar stories on the air suspension. Nice idea, poor execution for longevity. . .
