  1. Frankly, as an F-150 owner I think the Chevy ads dropping cinderblocks and toolboxes into the bed of both the Chevy and F-150 from a height that would cause damage to any pickup truck bed were pretty insulting. Chevy obviously thinks people who buy $35-$45K trucks are stupid enough to drop heavy, sharply pointed objects into the bed from a height of three feet or more during the course of their daily activities, without any regard for the damage it might inflict. I've carried bricks and other heavy objects (as well as pallets) and when I did I took suitable precautions to ensure that I didn't cause damage. Because I value my truck. I like my truck, and I paid a lot for my truck. I have a spray in bedliner and when I carry heavy stuff I'm likely to slide in a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" plywood. I guess I'm smarter than Chevy gives me credit for. Why would I buy a vehicle from a company that thinks I'm stupid and relies on deceptive marketing to try and influence my opinion? Muppets! 2. So here's a question on the build and price thing; If I provision a 802A with Tech I get the B&O premium sound system. Above that in the list on the left side it shows a "Kicker Subwoofer" option that is not included. Does the 10 speaker B&O system contain a subwoofer of it's own, and this separately listed subwoofer is for folks who did not option the B&O system? Is that it? F-150Synch
  3. I know this thread started for '17 Raptors but I'm now waiting on my '18 and thought it might be a good place to ask the question... My order was produced on 7/17/17 and poster "Pioneer" indicated that DRB was doing a 'batch and hold'. Is there anything further on that? Is it QC or are we waiting on OKTB? I have the VIN, 1FTFW1RG1JFA03809, if anybody is able to give me a status update it would be appreciated! Thanks, F-150Synch
  4. Well hopefully it won't be something like a month before release. Thanks!
  5. Pioneer; Thanks for the quick response. Before I read your reply I checked ETIS and was pleased to find that my truck had been born yesterday afterall. VIN 1FTFW1RG1JFA03809. Now the real waiting game begins I'd still like to know what the term REBILL means if you happen to know. I know others have had this question as well (says Google). Thanks again, F-150Synch
  6. Hi; Lots of codes on the window sticker! My dealer gave me a VIN for my 18 Raptor order a few weeks ago so I've printed a copy of that for reference. A few weeks ago it used to say "9-NORMAL" and then NB, 102892, HF261 and then in large bold numbers 5994. So today is the day after production was supposed to start at the Dearborn plant and i thought I'd check and see if anything changed. Now it says "4-REBILL" followed by NB, 102090, HG141 and large bold numbers 3438. Can anybody explain what these changes mean? I've attached screen grabs of the changes at the top of the sticker. Was there a delay of some sort? Thanks, F-150Synch
  7. Okay guys I have my window sticker for my 2018 F-150 and dealer is telling me I have an expected delivery date of 31 July to 6 Aug. But how do I get that info from looking at the window sticker? I see a lot of dates or what could be dates but don't know what I'm looking at. thanks, F-150 Synch
  8. Thanks for the heads-up on the order bank grand opening! I wonder if you've heard anything about the priority of builds. I currently own a 2015 F-150 ordered new as a customer order, and then when I read the news of dealer stock orders getting priority I re-engaged my dealer and he submitted a duplicate order as a dealer stock order, and that one did indeed come in first. The one that was a customer order (my truck's doppleganger) got sold through the dealers website to somebody in Atlanta. So what I'm asking is when I order that new 2018 Raptor on the 15th of May should we put it in as a dealer stock order or a customer order? As an aside I heard on the Raptor forum somewhere that the first Raptors built last year were those for overseas customers (I think China was mentioned). So any info you can provide will help to temper my expectations. Thanks in advance for any info you can share. M.
