of course the automatic shifting is faster / performance is better (few hundredths of a seconds), no doubt about that ! But as you said: some folks prefer old school manual shifting, especially on a "rude" american V8 ??

Sport cars should only be manual. Automatic gearbox, electric cars, robot driving, etc are of course much more comfortable and ideal for commuting, but the most important thing I am buying with a sport car is driving pleasure, the rest counts (almost) nothing. Personal opinion, not intending to offend anyone ??

my dealer has also no feedback at all... Apparently he has received the car- status "FAHRZEUG-STATUS: EINPLANUNG ZUGESAGT" back in December, and was expecting the VIN in January, but still nothing. "Einplanung zugesagt" is the confirmation he has got the allocation, right? Vielen Dank

I didnt notice this post - thanks... As far as you know is there any possibility to check an order status without a VIN but just with the Ford order ?

Servus Rainer, I live in Germany too and still having the same problem you HAD (I have just seen in the other thread that you car was produced yesterday, congratulations ! :))) As Ikzz says (hola tio!) to get a Mustang over here in Europe might be as long and complex as having a baby....... actually even worst: my order for a Bullitt was placed last March (!!!) and still got no VIN............................................. ? It seems though that the dealer has a confirmation for the allocation.. but may, that´s too much!

I see now that I need to move my request to another dedicated (sub)forum, whereof I would need to have 15 posts somewhere else before I can post there....... ??? Interesting.. Can anyone at least help on those codes in the order sheet? (12 posts to go...?)

I forgot to mention that the car was ordered with MagneRide, for which I am reading about some consistent delay... What scares me most though is that "prio 99" code which, according to several posts read on web, means no concrete order is actually processed. But nevertheless on the order sheet it is mentioned "construction confirmed" (translation from German)... Of course I have spoken with the dealer, according to him the delay is due to the strict allocations here in Europe and to several other delays at Ford (i.e. magneride)... He said he´s got the "construction confirmation" status in December and therefore expects to receive the VIN within this month. Could anyone possibly check and/or provide any hint on those order codes indicated in my previous post and others here below? Here´s some additional info from the order sheet - translated from German: car status: construction confirmed order art: F base: 02 Thank you very much in advance
