As promised: #10127 We were able to switch to another car with a better configuration, I got it last week. New config: Mustang GT Race-Red Premium with Performance-Package 1 (European Premium Package 2-Config.), Magne Ride, black Stripes and rear wing, produced in October What a car, now 400 km on it with so much fun.

It changed today. My car should be produced on 24th of January, but because of the missing parts in Flat Rock it was delayed. The production started 14th of February, but parked at the plant because of missing steering wheels. But I had luck and we found another car, I'll get it next week. New config: Mustang GT Race-Red with PP2 (Europe Config.), Magne Ride, black Stripes and rear wing, produced in October. I'm so excited!

My ordered Mustang is my first Mustang too. So we are in the same situation. Welcome to this forum. Which color did you choose? Do you have any production date yet?

The space is of course limited and - if I understood you correctly - the lack of steering wheels continues. No end in sight. And no idea when this will end? You apprehended it in an earlier post, that the production may stop again. And it will stop, if I count 1 and 1 together. Isn't there any progress in the delivery timetable from the supplier? Have they continued their strike in Mexico? I thought they have "won" the dispute. And again, thank you for all these information. We get absolutely no answers from our dealers. They know nothing about such problems.

hmmmm - round about 4000 cars produced in a week. So they need huge parking areas in Flat Rock to park all those cars without steering wheel. Maybe someone can post a picture, so we can search our cars.

Hi Vins, servus! No - it looks like that was (or is) not a joke. If you make yourself dependent from one supplier, you'll (in this case Ford) get what you have payed for. But of course I'm very sad, that I have to wait longer for my dream. But I can't change something in this situation. Same like you and your wait for the Bullitt. We have to be thankful to get some answers here, because I haven't found these information at other sources. And I hope that this supplier-problem will be solved fast. And no - it was the car from Englmar that was produced yesterday. He asked in the subforum for his VIN. But I'm sure my car is produced these days as well, but I haven't asked yet. Exactly the same here. No Etis build date, but Windowsticker blend date = 20190124. But I described in German for you the reason. We sadly have to wait and we can be glad, that some users here have information about the shortage and inform us. Because I haven't found any other source like this. Nowhere. And by the way - as far as I know you need useful posts.

Du könntest Dich z.B. im Welcome-Forum vorstellen, da kommen schon ein paar Posts hinzu, wenn Dich dann jemand willkommen heißt. Und guck mal ins Mustang-Unterforum. Es fehlen Lenkräder. Seit Montag wird wieder gebaut, aber nur mit Dummy-Lenkrädern. Die Fahrzeuge kommen dann in die Werkstatt auf dem Werksgelände und erhalten - wenn wieder die Lenkräder da sind - diese eingebaut. Meiner wird/wurde auch am 24. gebaut bzw. sollte gebaut werden. Ist halt Warten angesagt.

Missing steering wheels in Flat Rock - no end in sight - ?

Oh no, what sad news for me and many others. This is my first Ford which is not produced in Germany - and now this. Please keep us informed, when the problem will be solved. ? Rainer.

Really - she's a beauty. Here in the EU these Mark 3 Stangs are not so popular. But - and for sure as a convertible - your car looks perfect!

Thank you tbone. The wait is really a pain. And reading that the plant had stopped working only a view days before my Stang was born, was like getting a punch in my stomach. Maybe you have only a view miles to get one. But I have only a view miles to drive as fast as I like on our German Autobahn. ?

Hm - let's have a look in this registry #4802 - hey a 1983 GLX. Nice. I collect small miniature cars (mostly in scale 1:43, but some in 1:18 and 1:24) and I have a red 1985 Twister II. And many older and newer ones.

Thank you! You can't imagine how I'm anxiously looking forward to "my Stang's" journey across the pond and the transports with rail and truck. I dreamt of this car with this great V8 sound my whole life.

That sounds interesting. Did some short google-search and found the website. And will have a look to the Facebook-site as well. We'll see. Hopefully my race-red-GT will be produced soon. Can't wait any longer, but it will be April or May (best case) until it's here. ?
