  1. Do us all a favor. Take the 60k and move to Arkansas.
  2. Your math is also wrong $27/hour in 1999 is equal to $41.61 today. Remember that when you hear guys bitch about not getting a 4% lump sum bonus while you are. Honestly if you had any money management skills you shouldn’t need a $1000 put in your TESPHE because your TESPHE should already be loaded. That $1000 could’ve been used to give your brothers and sisters a 4% lump sum also.
  3. I couldn’t get past the first sentence. You criticized me for bad grammar but started your rant with a lower case “y.” However, keep in mind $14.65....that’s less than minimum wage in some places in this country. Take the damn buyout and get out so we can show you what a “union” is about.
  4. Here’s what you’ll don’t understand...the hourly rate you sat at for two contracts was an obscene amount compared to the average outside of your bubble. $27 or more in 1999-2006 would be equal to what in 2019? I seriously want to see if you can give me an accurate answer before I tell you.
  5. Only “Top Rate” Employees get the December lump sum bonus. Had they changed that to everyone gets it...then the contract would’ve been a slam dunk...However now you got a bunch of members with 5-8 years seniority that are pissed because of the wage progression and on top of that not receiving the lump sum bonus. Is it worth striking over, probably not but this would’ve had no problem passing had they changed that.
  6. Ok...missed that. Thanks brother or sister. ?
  7. I see that...but my point is...if there are no longer Company Contribution Eligible Employees, which is what I posted earlier eliminated, all the other stuff below that is a mute point. This is an example of how stuff is snuck through. If you point me to where it says who is eligible for 23I...then I will believe you.
  8. This is from the book of changes. Company eligible contribution employees is eliminated. Does this mean the company is no longer contributing to In Progression employees’ TESPHE accounts? I was skeptical about it when nothing was mentioned about it in the highlights. I sure as hell hope that is not the case.
  9. In Progression that are not at “Top Rate” do not get the 4% lump sum bonuses. Your info is wrong. I have 7 years in and will not get the first lump sum....which makes me believe that none of the In Progression employees would be eligible for it.
  10. In progression not at “Top Rate” do not get the 4% lump sums. Pension eligible employees get $1000 put into TESPHE...while In Progression get $0. That equals a BIG NO from me. Actually it’s insulting.
  11. These guys with 25+ years seniority bitching has me ?...Retire and take your pensions already. ? Go enjoy your last 10 years on earth. Why do you want to die in the plant or a year or two after you retire. ?‍♂️

  14. I guess technically it did increase your top rate from $28 to $32. It’s the people hired in from 2012-2015 that it did nothing for.
  15. Yes! This contract did nothing for you.
