I never set it up either. No need. Never met anyone that has. I will say the Smart Hitch assist is intriguing if it works slick. My current tailgate camera is a huge help aligning the ball but if that Smart feature really works well it could be nice. Even with the camera it takes 2-3 shots to line it perfect sometimes. Problem is thats Job 2 and Im way too impatient. ?

Good to know. My 16 F150 Lariat seats are quite good. It my old back on long stretches sitting anywhere thats a problem. ? The heat helps some.

Which seats are these ? 10 way ? Max recline ? Hoping the 250 Lariat Ultimate Baja has this same 2 tone treatment. .? Even the console lid looks better. Odd some complain how uncomfortable these seats were in 22. They were great looking. Do these look different than the 22 seat beyond the 2 tone ?

Good advice. I use De-ox-it spray to clean inside them and blow them out with air and then the dielectric grease. The deoxidizer spray works !

Ive now seen several pictures of various grilles on 23’s. Looks like there will be a large space maintained behind the front plate as you guys mentioned you put the plow cables. I will be glad to tuck the wires away when not in use again ! Thanks for the input.

Agreed. Thats how it was on my last F150. It worked great. When they swapped it over last time they set it up where it wont push thru on this truck.

The smaller plug could fit thru the narrow lower but the large one is too big to push back thru on this current F150 grill. Maybe the grill configuration on the 23 SD will allow for it to push thru for summer. Im sure at some point there will be closeup shots of all the different 23 grills out there. It isn’t a huge deal but it could look better. I just know that there is likely folks here that have figured out a better way than I have ! Appreciate the suggestions on what else works for others. Thanks for the input.

I have an F150 Lariat ordering a F250 Lariat. I swapped my lightweight Boss 7'6" stainless plow with down pressure to my other 150 now will swap to the 250.. Perfect for my Maine 600' gravel driveway. This is how they set my plug when switching from my other truck to this one. Ive always wondered if there is a better / neater way to install the plugs. Id rather they tucked away better for the warmer months if theres a better way. What are you guys doing on your SD trucks ? Pictures ? BTW, Why do we block our license plate anyway? Ha !

No. Getting a Lariat. Was hoping they stepped up from the column shifter to a console mounted shifter option like the 150’s. Just a preference not critical for sure. Looks nicer IMO.

Its working now but they haven't added all options it seems yet. Black interior only. No 6.8. No Ultimate package or moon roof. Work in progess….but progress !

I did and I saw no mention of adaptive power steering. I'm on my way to the dealer now so I guess I'll find out and will report back.

Just spec’d mine out with the guide. Many thanks for posting that. Prefer the adaptive steering if its available in 2023. Dont see it. Am I missing it ?

So maybe we will get some 6.8 info leaked prior to the new later opening date....time will tell.

George, Great point as usual. So true about baseless negativity on the net regardless of what the topic. Luckily Ive been on the net daily since 95 and have a knack for picking out baseless info. We’ve never “seen it all” but Im really careful who/what I believe after seeing a lot of internet craziness. There is some helpful real life opinions here which I love. Great site overall for sure. The 6.8 has no real life experiences to share…but its still good stuff to hear and to consider or discount….carefully. ?. Meantime, a proven and beloved 7.3 thats improved in any way seems to be the king for my needs. We will see !

Thats what I assumed. I will keep my eyes peeled on forums. Surprised no specs have leaked on the 6.8. Impressed they are able to keep it concealed. Disappointed we cant discuss the specs prior to the Order Bank. Oh well. Likely going with the proven and “improved” (whatever that spec is) 7.3 anyway.

That would be really great since its my first time ordering a truck. 2 Questions…..F250 Lariat .is it possible to order the sway bar for towing without the package that has it with the overload springs and stiffer front shocks ? .is it possible to get the center console shifter like I have now on my 2016 F150 Lariat ?

Correction. The Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera is about $1700. The Ultimate Trailer High Capacity Tow Camera system increases towing capacity a lot and is about $2700. Either is sufficient to allow adding Adaptive Steering for an additional $1000. You need one or the other in 22 MY for the AS option.

Are those just the known Ford PCO programs or are they a separate Promo ?
