Good to hear that commodity restraints apply to unscheduled orders! I also don't feel that my dealer is lying to me, he is showing me the VVR from Ford whenever I ask, so that's about all he can do. We are all in the same boat with the waiting game I guess!

My truck was ordered 3/22 and has had a VIN and a "scheduled clean" status for many many weeks now. I've had build weeks from August and now into November. I ordered a Lariat Tremor with most options available including AS. We all see that trucks with AS are not being scheduled(with the exception of King Ranch) but my dealer insists that my truck is going to be built this go around based on conversation with the regional rep!!! I guess my question is, what does "Scheduled Clean" actually mean in fords eyes? Dealer indicates the hold up is not lack of parts as it is 'Scheduled Clean" Just thought I would see what opinions or answers some of you may/may not have. Thanks in advance

Anything is possible i guess, but it kinda sounds like this is a good way of getting that sales number up for a little bigger commission.

I like the positive approach that since its gone from the list that maybe they now have parts! Keep your fingers crossed and maybe the wait is nearing the end for a lot of us!

I went and test drove 1 with and 1 without for a comparison. I noticed a slight difference in the parking lot moving around in tight areas. I went ahead and ordered the AS option on mine on 3/22, but i'm still waiting! My suggestion would be for you to do the same if possible, as everyone will have their own opinion on the option! In the end, you need to drive each truck to see if its a noticeable difference your willing to wait for or if you can do without it.

I read these forums for info regularly(probably too much...lol) and have not seen any mention of availability changes. ice-capades seems very well InTouch with lots of details and usually posts updates as they become available.

You will be very happy with the 450. We have a 2020 450 to tow a 39' center console fishing boat all over the SE coastlines for fishing tournaments. Nowhere near the max capacity, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 20K# and it tows it with ease! Additionally, the wide track frontend is great for increased maneuverability. As for waiting for the next model year, there will always be improvements and changes on the horizon. Get your 22 and enjoy it, then upgrade again in a few years once the do an actual full refresh with the interior/exterior.
