  1. Glad to hear you are getting your truck today. I picked mine up last night after work. Nice color choice too ?
  2. Cyberdman, thank you for your updates. This thread can be closed as my truck was delivered to the dealership today.
  3. Hopefully yours will arrive sooner. Mine was pushed out to 9/9 at the latest and arrived today. So it's possible for yours to arrive sooner than the ETA is currently showing.
  4. I just got back from the dealer, they said they will have it ready for pickup by 3:00pm. You will have to post a picture of your truck when you get it.
  5. Haha, I didn't but they could have stopped in the South towns this morning before heading up this way.
  6. Drove by the dealership on my way to the office this morning and look what showed up!!
  7. Yeah, considering they were unloaded last Tuesday. I just drove back from St. Louis on Monday. Coming up the 90 from Cleveland, there have been plenty of auto carriers heading toward Buffalo with Ford Edge, F-150's and some Explorers. Didn't see any Super Duty's on any of them. I did see some GM and Ram trucks heading this way as well. Just can't believe it is taking this long since being unloaded from the railcar.
  8. Has anyone had their original delivery ETA extended? Mine was originally 8/26 - 9/1 and checked this morning and the ETA is now showing 9/3 - 9/9. It was unloaded from the railcar on 8/24.
  9. Bump, wondering if there is anything new regarding: VIN #: 1FT8W3B********** Thanks, -Mike
  10. I’m in Kirkwood, MO and a load of auto racks just went through heading west toward Kansas City on UP with multiple rail cars of Super Duty’s.
  11. Moved to a different railcar would require loading and unloading at a facility. Considering all those are reporting the same thing, then my guess is the rail car had a problem enroute and had to be set out on a siding for repair. This happens from time to time as the railroads have defect detectors along the mainlines to try and detect issues with trains before they create larger issues, such as a derailment. If the car tripped a defect detector, the train crew has to stop the train and visually inspect the railcar. If something is discovered to be wrong that the train crew can not resolve, then the car is setout at the nearest siding for repair and the train continues. Once a maintenance crew repairs the issue with railcar, dispatch will usually schedule it to be picked up by either a local or another through freight train. Considering that it's been a week with no movement on the railcar, this would be my best guess as to what happened.
  12. Interesting, it doesn't appear there are any yards in that area. Are you using the CSX tracking phone number to get this info or was this provided by your dealer? If it's from CSX, if I had to guess the railcar may have had a problem and possibly setout as a bad order to be repaired. Once it's repaired it will be scheduled for pickup by another train and continue on it's way. If the information is from your dealer, then they might not have the current location of the rail car. But looking at Google Sat view, I don't see any other reason for it to be sitting in Kirkwood, OH since the 15th.
  13. Where is yours sitting? The railcar mine was on arrived at Lordstown of Ohio, LLC today (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Lordstown+of+Ohio+LLC/@41.1751239,-80.8761944,1176m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1). It was shipped on the 18th and looks like it will be unloaded and continue via over the road transport to my dealership in Buffalo, NY.
  14. Thanks for all the input. I will call my salesman and express my concerns and see what he says.
  15. My sales person called and told me that my truck is scheduled to arrive this week (earlier than anticipated). I will be out of town for work this week and told my sales person that I would be in to pick it up when I return the following week. He said that was fine as the dealership won't mind having it on the lot for people to look at. Here is my question, are dealers allowed to let people test drive retail ordered vehicles until the buyer comes it into claim the vehicle? I don't mind people looking at it or sitting in it. But I don't want a bunch of people driving my new retail order and racking up miles on it during test drives. I scheduled my work trip thinking my truck would arrive after I got back, so nothing I can do about my work trip at this point.
  16. Yes, 3" shank on the F350. I am trying to decide on the 6" or 8" drop for my Tremor.
  17. According to the Mach-E tracking site, my truck shipped on the 18th which is 4 days between release and shipment date. I just sent a message to my dealer asking for an updated VVR as the one he sent me yesterday evening did not have the shipping information on it.
  18. On average I would say yes that is correct, but then there are exceptions. My truck was built last week and is still off-site for spray in bed liner according to my salesman as of last night. If the status doesn't change today, then it will have been a week since it went off-site. In reviewing the tracking thread over at FTE, in the spreadsheet there is a "delivered" tab that shows how long between release and shipment. There have been a few trucks that have gone over the average 2 days. The highest I've seen is 14 days. I am hoping my truck will ship by the end of the week.
  19. Which drop shank did you get for your Bulletproof hitch?
  20. Looks like my truck was finally built on Friday the 13th. Original scheduled build date was the 12th.
  21. Please check the status of the following order: VIN #: 1FT8W3B********** Thank you
  22. If I had to guess, with the current supply chain issues they probably do not want to risk having a number of 2022 trucks in the system that can't be built before having to switch the assembly line over to MY23 truck orders. If 2023 is a redesign as everyone suspects, then they probably already have a schedule in place as to when the assembly line will be re-tooled. And they probably do not want to piss off a bunch of customers that are waiting for MY22 trucks by having to cancel their orders when that time comes.
  23. I had a '99 7.3L with a 6 speed and replaced the transmission myself at around 350k mi. This was back in '08 and at that time it wasn't much more to purchase a reman with a 1yr /12k warranty for much more. Now days I couldn't tell you the difference in cost, but over all it wasn't hard to swap out the transmission if you have the proper tools to do it. I also replaced the OE clutch with a South Bend clutch and the throw out bearing. I purchased the reman transmission from Fuller Ford in Cincinnati as I lived in Northern KY at the time.
  24. When mine was scheduled on a Thursday, I was able to call Ford customer service and got the VIN that afternoon. I believe I called around 3:00pm ET and was able to get the VIN. Dealership told me that same day the VIN had not been generated yet. The following day on Friday I gave my salesman the VIN and he told me it was now showing up on my order.
